This Walmart is clean, the people that work there are helpful, and so much better than the one in Holland. I live in Holland and drive 20 miles to go to the Walmart in Grand Haven it is just that much better.

It pains me to say it, but curb-side pickup at Walmart is always fast, friendly and affordable. You just tap in your order and plug in a pickup time and there you have it! Painless shopping right to your car (that is, painless for you)! The "picker-deliverers" are always extremely courteous and careful with groceries. They double check your order upon your convenient arrival and expeditiously load your groceries wherever you might want them in your vehicle. They are prohibited from taking tips (personally, I think mega corporations can afford to replace the difference in the cost of things with higher wages rather than people tipping more). The "picker-deliverers" often seem over worked, tired, and on their last leg. Let's hope the compensation Walmart affords is also fast, generous, and magnanimous -- just like so many of their workers throughout their store in many convenient locations!

YOU HAVE THE OPTION TO PRICE MATCH ANOTHER STORES AD AND THEN YOU CANNOT USE YOUR COUPONS "OR" YOU CAN USE YOUR COUPONS BUT THEN YOU CANNOT PRICE MATCH?? RETARTS!! WHY NOT ACCEPT MANUFACTURE COUPONS AND PRICE MATCH SINCE THE MANUFACTURE PAYS YOU BACK FOR THEM?? IDIOTS!! CUSTMER SERVICE LIKES TO HASSLE PEOPLE AND USE ANY EXCUSE NOT TO PAY YOU YOUR MONEY!

I just had the worst experiance that i have had i over 10 years in returning anything, anywhere!! If you have something on recall and you want to return it you better get a chair to bring with you to sit down on because the benchs are made of steel and they hurt after awile! Make sure the chair has PLENTY of cushion becuse you will be there a VERY long time! They will try to question you on where and when you bought it and for how much and then turn around and ask you ten minutes later the same thing to try to see if you have the same story and try to trip you up in it! They will be getting on there little computer to see what and when it was recalled and "how and if" they can get out of paying for it! My piticular item was on recall and i was told to return it to the store by the manufacter, but when i get to Walmart they say they won't reture it even though they have caused 9 infant deaths and 2 MILLION RECALLS?? I was told to just get the repair kit?? I had 2 diffrent papers showing the recall from 2 diffrent web sites with our model # clearly as one of the ones that was recalled and was just told to get a kit because they did not have nothing on anything showing what i was showing them?? They had there own recall list that was 1/50 the size of the U.S. Consumer Product Saftey Commissions list was?? Why would that be?? Try to discurage people maybe? And not turn over money to you, if something is wrong. Like i said i had 2 diffrent reports with our model # on it in black and white and was denied and told to get a kit! We went to the Holland store and we had NO problems what so ever? I did the same thing there as in the Grand Haven store and i had a diffrent response the the paper work that i had and all the diffrent proof there was, that it TRUELLY was on recall! When you cut people down and "pretend" they don't know anything you tend to lose businees. And there procistinating to deture you from doing it ever again is silly! What more proof do you need for them to accept something back? For other stores it was no big deal but for SOME reason it is a hassle and time consuming at the Grand Haven store. I would what Walmart Corperate would say about this?? They even have a new store manager and that place is STILL backwards!?!? A simple call to Walmart Corporate will solve this!

Using a check

I totally agree with the person stating its the customer's fault not the store for the check snafu. If you insist on using checks these days be prepared. It's not the cashiers fault your unprepared or having a bad day, remember that people.

I love how you blame a business and a cashier girl for not bringing your license to the store and using a check ....which by the way are on their way to pretty much being obsolete ! Every business out there requires a drivers license no. phone no. all kinds of Info to use a check these days . by running your boyfriends license no. the cashier was trying to check you out and avoid you being a total B**tch ! get an ATM and stop blaming everyone else for your own mistakes!

A bad experience

I went to Wal-Mart on Saturday December 13th. The worst experience of my whole life. I did my shopping $80.00 worth and get to the check out and the lady rings up all items. I go to pay with a check and she asks for a driver's license, I tell her I don't have my on me and she replies i can use ANY driver's license. So my boyfriend gives her his. MY CHECK is DECLINED!!! Not due to no funds but go to find out due to her mistake. You can NOT use another person’s license when they are not on the account. Therefore i wasted time, gas and not to mention my Embarrassment. The biggest thing is my Embarrassment and i had to leave the groceries there. Then I go to Meijer on Sternberg and go through the same thing but they were nice enough to help me figure out what the problem really was. I have never had worst service and experience in my whole life then at Wal-Mart. I will tell family friends and everyone else about my experience because... I called to speak to a manager and she had nothing comforting to say but i am sorry and Meijer’s is not that far from their store... I got disconnected 2 times and waited just to hear that. I will never return to Wal-Mart again.
