Ron provided a quote to install ceramic tile in two small bathrooms verbally for $600. His emailed quote was for $877. He estimated he could begin the installation March 13th which turned into the 19th with a phone call to confirm on the 16th. Receiving no call I emailed on the 17th getting a Sunday night reply that he could not begin work on the 19th. Having rescheduled my carpet installation to follow his work moved Ron to claim he would show up the 21st around 11AM, I phoned afternoon to learn he was enjoying lunch and thought he should have called. I agreed. I've reached the conclusion he should not work on my house. Sure it puts me in a bind but if he is as good at installing ceramic as he is at keeping his word, I'm better off.
