A Glendale, AZ native and a graduate of the University of Arizona with a degree in Microbiology, Dr. Ratliff attended Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine in Glendale Arizona, earning his medical degree in 2015. He completed his residency in Family Medicine at the University of Missouri in Columbia, MO in 2018 where he was Chief Resident, and completed a fellowship in sports medicine at University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, Arkansas where he provided medical care to Division 1 SEC Athletes. Dr. Ratliff is Board Certified in Family Medicine and holds a specialty certificate of added qualifications in Sports Medicine. Dr. Ratliff has always had a passion for sports medicine. His professional interests include comprehensive sports medicine care including muscle, tendon, bone, joint, and overuse injuries for patients of all ages, diagnostic and therapeutic ultrasound-guided injections, Regenerative Medicine including Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) and “stem cell” injections, percutaneous tenotomy (TENEX), fracture care with casting and splinting, sports concussion and return to play protocol, and team and event coverage. "My goal is to work together with my patients to achieve the optimal outcomes and help my patients return to their active lifestyles. I will educate my patients on all appropriate treatment options based on current medical evidence to help develop a treatment plan that best suits their wants and needs."
