I.L., 10/31/14. I didn't fare any better than all the other people who had service problems with Garrett from J & H Appliance Repair. My warranty company sent him. I explained to him the wash cycle doesn't work. As soon as the washer fills, it immediately drains then goes into a slow spin leaving the clothes dirty and wet. I then have to put it on the drain and spin cycle in order to extract the dirty water from the clothes. I insisted he stop the drain and spin cycle because that wouldn't show what was wrong and told him to put it on the normal cycle. Even though he insisted all cycles work the same, he started the normal cycle.

However, he got quite angry with me and told me he's been in the business for 30 years and knows how to fix washers. I asked him to wait for the fill cycle to complete and he would see the problem. he said he didn't have time to waste. I told him I read reviews about him on line and people were right about him and his poor service. I asked him to leave my house we had words and I swore at him he walked back towards me and threatened that I'd never get my washer or dishwasher fixed. I told him to leave or I'd call the police. By the way, the washer he started on the normal cycle never went into the wash cycle. It just filled and drained. I called my American Home Shield Warranty Company and complained to them about Garrett and asked them why I was red lined and he was actually prevented to do any repairs that day and needed preauthorization

the WORST service i have EVER received in my life with any business. I did not choose this business but was assigned this contractor through my home warranty to come and fix my dishwasher. The dishwasher I have in my home is the original one from when the home was built in 1991. So yes the unit is 22 years old. It hasn’t been getting the dishes clean lately. He came over and lied to my husband by glancing at the serial number and saying the unit was only 5 years old and it was a cheap unit that was about $200. When my husband try to say he was mistaken the guy just talked over him and insisted he was right. He said it was our cheap unit, the kind of soap we were using and that we didn’t clean off our dishes as to why it wasn’t working as good. Later when I called him, I tried telling him he was wrong and that my unit was 22 years old. This man continuously talked over me, interrupted me, refused to listen, yelled at me and hung up on me. Cripes, even the so called receptionist or assistant was rude when I first called.

This is probably the worse experience I have had dealing with any form of customer service in Arizona. I waited for nearly 7 months for a supposed back ordered part. I explained to the "not so nice lady" receptionist over the phone my situation of my Wine Fridge that it was not getting cold. So I brought the fridge to them to save a 150 house call and it sat there for at least a month before somebody looked at it to diagnose what was wrong. It needed 2 parts replaced and I waited the 7 months for the back ordered part to come in. Well the so called "Owner" finally came to my house to finally fix the Fridge that I was told would be covered under warranty. He was immediately rude from the get go. He insulted my wine fridge saying it was a $200 fridge and is not very good quality. Keep in mind he is a specific Danby Service Provider. The Fridge is a $1000 fridge anywhere you look on the internet. He then proceeded to tell me that it was too snug into the cabinets and under the countertop and that it would not get enough ventilation and that the part would probably go very soon because of that. I bought a fridge that purposely has ventilation on the bottom so that I would not have that problem. This company is extremely unprofessional and I just wasted 7 months of my life that I will never get back dealing with these crooks. Do not use them under any circumstances!!

The worker that showed up after waiting 2 months on the parts, smelled of alcohol. Called my husband a "A******" when he ask him to leave our home for disrespecting it. He stated he owned the company and told us we would wait another 2 months for more parts. He made a mess and told us we had to clean it up. When we asked how do you expect us to do that? He said "I'm not cleaning that s*** up." Our Grandmother and our 6 children were in the room. We then asked him to leave our home. He came over to me and asked if there was a way he could work this out as he put a arm around my shoulder. I almost vomited once I smelled him, he reaked of booze. I started to yell at him to leave our home. He called me a c***, I then dialed 911. When I informed him the cops are on the way, he packed up his stuff and ran to his truck cursing at us. We seen him trip half way down the path. Must have been the booze. The sheriff later showed up, we made a report. For someone says he owns the company he sure acted like a teenager.
