You enter the building expecting a dank dirty bowling alley, full of plastic chairs and fluorescent lighting. But you are surprised! The clean open space (that is lovingly referred to as 'the concourse') assaults your nasal passages with a plethora of conflicting aromas. French fries, pizza, nachos, beer, spicy liquor cleaning products and feet. You simply can't escape the foot smells in an establishment where the patrons must remove their shoes.

While you can pick out some fluorescent bulbs around they are mellowed by not only secondary lower light fixtures but the colors that are everywhere. Floor to ceiling neon colors abound and swirl.

Bowling, while fun, is expensive. But you can easily pass an extremely fun evening without going down to the lanes. The arcade and pool tables are great fun if you get board after your dinner, at Z's Tap House, that could never be confused with cheep "Bowling ally" food. Nachos made with saucy shredded chicken and real cheese YUM. Garlic fries that are nothing but regular fries tossed in fresh minced garlic and garnished with parsley... Ahh the garlicky goodness.

And let us not ignore the bar, the hub of the entire establishment. 40 beers on tap
