I booked a birthday party for my 2y old daughter on a Tuesday night. It was terrible weather, snow and freezing cold. The party was suppose to be 5.30pm to 7.30pm

I called a day earlier to ask what are my options because of the weather, and was told that nothing basically, I would lose $300 i paid for the party.

The next day we arrived at 5.20 and started to set up a party for only few guests who were able to make it in the snow storm . Guests arrived due to the weather condition at 5.50pm. The personnel were rude, said we lost half and hour of our kids play time.

Another thing, i came straight from work and did not have any lunch, so brought a small salad for myself to snack on before the party. The personnel took away the salad, as no food is allowed. Just to be clear, i have problems with the stomach and with me not being able to eat until 8pm, it is ridiculous. I am not allowed to have pizza. The salad was only for me before the guests will arrive.

So I paid $300 for 5 kids because of the weather condition nobody else could arrive, was cut off on time, was not allowed to eat. at 7.20pm the personnel lined up in the room, watching the clock to kick us out of the party. They put away the cake and food at 7.15pm!!! The pizza was freezing cold, nobody wanted to eat it. We had to pay extra $$$ for the water and juice for 5 kids, because they said we used more, than it was suppose to be for 15 kids!!!!!

we each had a bottle of water and maybe 5 juice boxes.

Then they " demanded" the tip and i had to leave $50 in a tip for the rude people...



my kids loved the bouncers but the customer service is TERRIBLE!!!!

So upset that i really wanted to come back but dont know if we will.

If you're looking for a birthday party where you kid can have the time of his/her life than congrats...you found it! What better place to burn off extra energy when its like 10 degrees outside! Whether you have boys or girls, you have to check out Pump It Up-Glenview. I've heard mixed reviews about the other locations and our best friend had a party at Jump Zone recently, and lets just say they'll never make that mistake again! PIU offers private parties and they take care of everything from the invites to cleaning up and everything in between! The staff is great, the price is right and most of all...the kids have a blast!
