Established in 1979, Henry Winkelman School is located in Glenview, Ill. It serves more than 500 students in kindergarten through fifth grade. Its facility features more than 30 classrooms, a gymnasium, learning center, computer laboratory, commons areas, and art and music rooms. The school also operates a parent teacher club and student council. It offers general academic courses in math, social studies, reading and language arts, music, and computer and health education. In addition, the school offers various enrichment programs that provide exploration in arts, dramatics, science, problem solving and language literacy.
