Adrian and Johnny Ray worked carefully and did an excellent job cleaning our air ducts.

We have used Effective Air since the company started and this experience was excellent, as has been our previous experience. After recent indoor construction, we had our air ducts and furnace motor cleaned as was recommended. Adrian, Julio, Luiz and Scott did a great job of explaining what they were going to do and how long they estimated each part would take. We will continue to use their company for our future needs.

I had a leaking water heater at 11:30 pm on a Friday night, called Effective Air and got the 24 hour emergency hotline. Daniel answered and patiently, carefully, clearly walked me through the steps I needed to stop the emergency, reassuring me and explaining everything and answering all my questions. As a single woman who has no practical experience in home appliances etc., Daniel was a Godsend that night. Then Monday early morning, Carlos came to check the situation out. He too was thorough, polite and explained everything and answered all my questions to him. He came back to install the new water heater and was very conscientious about leaving the area clean etc. i ended up having another question a few days later and when I called the main number, they paged Carlos and he called back immediately and he nicely, carefully answered my questions and even reassured me about an unrelated appliance question! Every company should be so fortunate to have such excellent employees! Daniel and Carlos sold me forever on Effective Air as my go-to place for the rest of my HVAC needs and I will be recommending the company to any and all.

Of the three proposals we had to install a new high efficiency boiler in 2013 only Effective Air did a serious heat loss calculation on our house. They suggested a smaller boiler than existed while the other two recommended the same size. The smaller boiler came at a lower price. The 2013/14 winter was a good test of their calculations. The house maintained the set temperature no matter how cold or windy the weather was.The installation was extremely well done by a crew who not only wanted it to work properly but wanted it to look good. Though not important to many people, the compactness, squareness and symmetry of the finished product showed us how much pride the employees take in there work.It is not often enough that one can give an unconditional recommendation. Effective Air merits just that.

Miguel, along with another partner, installed a new furnace and repaired hot water tank connections in my home. I left them alone working in my house because I had to attend a seminar, however, Brad checked in with the installers while I was gone. After the job was finished, Miguel made sure I understood all the work that was done. He showed me all the connections, switches, and set the thermostat. He asked if I had further questions. I felt very secure about the new furnace and well informed. Thanks!

We have been using Effective Air for years to service and install our heating and air conditionng. We have always been VERY satisfied. For the most part, we also get the same technician. This year, we had a new technician because our usual technician was no longer with the company and I want to give a very positive review to Kerry, the new serviceman. He was terrific- knowledgeable, polite, and super service oriented. We will be very happy to continue using Effective Air and Kerry.

We had used Effective Air for many years to handle annual maintenance. When we did work on our house 5 years ago, our architect redirected us elsewhere for HVAC work. We continued to use this different company. Now, when we needed a new furnace and air conditioner we got several bids. Although similar in price we chose Effective Air because of their high quality products, but also prior service history. They were great. Did what they said they'd do. No surprises to us, even though they ran into some issues requiring more sheet metal work than expected. It took longer but they didn't change pricing. Kept workspace very clean. Very happy.

Your scheduled visit for annual maintenance check of my boiler was - as always - professional, pleasant, on-time, and thorough. Your technician, Daniel, was courteous and efficient, going above the minimum work to suggest I consider something additional, and explaining why it was better and safer than something I might go elsewhere to obtain. I'm a long time customer of Effective Air and they convinced me to replace the furnace they installed in 1988 with a new 95% efficient furnace. Miguel & Hugo came on time and spent the day taking out the old and installing the new. They were friendly and consulted me on what was needed and efficiently combined the new furnace with the old ductwork and A/C system. They left the area and house clean like nothing happened. I'm very satisfied.

I am on Effective Air's annual maintenance program and after my furnace was checked, a problem arose with a terrible sound in the system immediately after the servicemen (Victor) left. I called Effective Air right away, and by 8am the next day, another serviceman (Daniel) was there tosolve the problem.......it was in the humidifier valve and after giving me complete information about what was happening and my options, the serviceman put a new valve in. I now, once again, feel confident that my furnace, humidifier, and air conditioning are in good condition. I have lived in my new house for 15 years now and expect maintenance issues to arise from time to time. Ken, who does the scheduling, has also been helpful. Effective Air has always been there for me and I consider them on my "team" to keep my house in tip top shape!

Don't trust Effective Air. We need to add electric forced air to existing air handler. We also have to change outside wires for a new ones.We found Effective Air and their estimator Brad Boehm came on August 13. We agree with their price, and told Brad on August 13 that we don't pay anything before the job done. He has no problem with it and we signed the contract. The job was schedule for October 1,2014, however on September 12 we got the email that we have to pay half price before they start working. The total for the job is $2125.00, so I have to pay over $1000.00 three weeks before they start the job. The reason was" we have to buy the materials". I responded with different proposal:" buy the materials, bring them to my home with the receipt and I will pay exact amount ." However, Effective Air doesn't like it and insist on half price down payment.So, after the whole day of countless emails back and fourth we cancel the contract and I have to look for a different contractors.My question is if Effective Air rep. Brad Boehm knew at the beginning his company policy down payment of 50%, why originally he said that was OK, one full payment upon completion, and after we signed contract, and job date was scheduled, he insist on half price down payment, or contract will cancel, and told us: "We have used for over 50 years 1/2 down policy" ?How can we trust Effective Air? They can change any other options in this contract, after it was signed by both side. I would never use them again and I tell everyone I can how deceitful they are.

Effective Air has been handling our Heating and Air Conditioning needs for lots of years, including installing new furnaces and central air conditioning units. They are always on time, call to confirm, call before they come, and put everything back exactly the way they found it (lights, temps etc.) Very reliable. Daniel was our tech today, and was polite and thorough. Highly recommend him, and Effective Air.

Effective Air has serviced my furnace and AC for many years. They come on time and do excellent work. Daniel was the technician for this latest visit and the service was the same as before, excellent.

My air conditioning was not working, so my son-in-law called Effective Air. Bobby came out and put in a new thermostat and filter. Although, I thought it was a bit pricey, a nicer gentleman you could not find. He was at my home for a good 3 hours and everything is working fine. I would welcome anyone from Effective Air in my home anytime. Good Karma!

Bobby came out today to provide maintenance on my A/C system. He was amazing, he had not problem telling me what, how and why he was doing everything. His knowledge and friendly personality made this process pleasant. I had a lot of questions, I would ask for him by name for sure.Thanks Bobby.

Bobby, the tech person spent 3.5 hrs trying to fix my furnace. Total cost originally was $700. He replaced the part then he realized that the original part wasn't the problem. Put it back together, walked me through what he did find wrong. New total cost approx. $200.00. Very affordable considering how long he worked on the problem. He could have "taken me for a ride." He did not. I appreciate the honesty, courtesy and professionalism. If someone asks for a good furnace company I ABSOLUTELY will recommend you. You should be proud of the people that work for you. I highly suggest Effective Air for both heating and air conditioning work! Everyone I've met in person and on the phone are extremely friendly and professional. They do what's best for me AND for the company, and that's the best way to do business. EA is not the cheapest company available, as they don't do cheap work. They're a little more (not much), but they're 100% worth it. I'm very glad I've been using them for the past few years and will work with them when I move to a new home!

January, 2014-- Effective Air HVAC did a check up on the furnace and replaced the old water heater. From Ken who mans the phones, to Carlos the technician, who checked the furnace, and replaced the old water heater, these guys have a genuinely positive attitude, are great communicators and are really competent at what they do. I'm a happy customer and recommend them highly.
