I have been bringing my cat there for 17 years. She is now diabetic and needs her insulin twice a day.
Like all businesses, there are good people working here and there are others. At this point in my cat's life she needs insulin, comfort, and compassion. She doesn't need to have blood work every 3 months. I test her glucose weekly and watch her urine myself but a visit to this vet results in stress, diarrhea, vomiting, and then lethargy. She sleeps fitfully for days and has to be woken up to be fed and given her shot. It takes her days to recover and she never goes back completely to the way she was before the visit. Each visit actually harms her. I know perfectly well she is a very bad cat and they have trouble holding her for the blood tests and urine sample. I know they use big leather welding gloves to immobilize her. I fear they're going to inadvertently kill her someday by giving her a heart attack or her choking herself. She is OLD and coughs and chokes and vomits when extremely stressed and then aspirirates some of the vomit. I wish the doctors at gateway were more compassionate and understanding but DO NOT TRY TO EXPLAIN ANYTHING TO THEM. They will actually walk away from you.
The trouble filling her prescription has recently made me consider having her euthanized but at home she is sweet and loving and happy and active.

A good veterinary clinic and hospital with several doctors. Provides other services too including boarding.
Note: The times posted are incorrect: They are open from 8:00 to 6:00 Mon-Sat but are closed from 12:00pm to 2:00pm Mon-Fri for treatment and lunch. Closed after 12:00 on Saturdays.

Been bringing the ferocious tiger here since she wandered into our yard and decided to adopt us as her guardians. It's popular and crowded here for a reason... the docs are all great but I have always gone with Dr. Preczcop. He's always thorough and explains things in simple detail... even Bobbie likes him and c'mon... what pet actually likes their vet!

they have good prices but I think that some times they give you false hope just to get your money . my dog died the next day after they too $350.00 deposet and they told me he could get well with treatment .

You know how you can tell a restaurant is really good by the way they are always VERY busy? This place is one of the busiest I have ever gone, but the Vet spends time listening to you and really examining your pet. I will return again.

I am a customer of this clinic and the service provided by Doctor's and personnel is just great.

They are kind, courteous and very understanding. I always go into the exam room with my dog

or cats. They are treated gently like the babies that they are. The cost is very affortable and the clinic does work with you, I would recommend anyone who loves their animal to take them there.

i take my dog and cat to Gateway and I go all the time into the exam room. The Doctor's are just

great, as is the personnel. They handle the animals with great care and kindness. I would advise

any one who has an animal that they care about to go to Gateway. Too receive the top notch caring

loving care that they deserve.
