I've been to this place multiple times over 5 years. The first experience was good but subsequent ones were not. Lunch buffet is cheap $8.95 5 stars for tandoori chicken and naan 1 star for mango lassi

Ok food but not great. Stand out item was the Naan which was thick and tasty. Small seating area.

This is a decent restaurant. I mostly do the takeout as the ambiance is not great. Their Dal Makhani is the one that I really like here.

A small place with great food. The wait time can be long, but it's worth the wait.

The service was excellent here...

The service was excellent here but the price and portion of meat are in direct contrast. In the lamb curry lunch special, there were about four average cubes of lamb drowning in sauce. It was average Indian food but by no means the best I've had in LA.

Three bucks for a coke and five bucks for a mango lassi is ridiculous. Between two people sharing an appetizer, the drinks listed above and two lunch specials, the bill was over $50. That's even steep for a to-die-for lunch special but certainly not worth it for this place.

If you're in the area and looking for a curry lunch, check out Sedthee Thai up the street on Brand or take the trip to Robina's Indian Food in North Hollywood. You could get a week's worth of food at either place for the same price.

I found the food good. The Nann was great! Service was slow at lunch time, way too slow. The waiter did not listen to the spiciness that people ordered, even though he asked each and everyone of us.

Worst Place Ever!

I was greatly disappointed with this restaurant. This place should not be confused with Flavors of India in Burbank which is the best Indian food in town. India's flavor is a hole in the wall that serves old food in there buffet. The owners are extremely nice but everything else is just plainly awful.

Great Find in Montrose!

This is a gem of a place. Tucked into a small strip mall in Montrose, this mom and pop's place has 8 tables. But don't let if fool you! The food is exceptional, and the atmosphere is homey. My favorite dish is the eggplant, of which I've never had better. Truly. Great food, reasonable prices - can't ask for anything better. If you prefer great quality over fancy dinner settings, this is the place for you.
