Founded in 1990, WESTMARC is a broad-based coalition of the 15 communities in western Maricopa County. It provides a forum on major issues including transportation, economic development, education, human resources, water rights and luke air force base. The firm has memberships with government, education, human services, arts and cultural organizations, chambers of commerce and community leaders. It offers services in areas of Avondale, Buckeye, El Mirage, Gila Bend, Glendale, Goodyear, Litchfield Park, Peoria, West Phoenix and Sun City. The firm has partnerships with Western Maricopa Enterprise Zone, West Valley Communities, Leadership West and Fighter Country Partnership.
