Founded in 1958, Luke Elementary School is a part of Dysart Unified School District 89, which operates various elementary, middle and high schools. The school provides general academic programs to more than 800 students in kindergarten through grade eight. It provides special education to gifted and talented students. It conducts classes in various subjects that include reading, writing, math and science. Luke Elementary School also offers the Title 1 and English Language Learners programs. The school has a parent-teacher-student association that conducts fundraising activities and special programs. In addition, it operates a cheerleading team and student council.
