Very honest. Between fixing my appliances and repairing. I will always use them and recc. them to everyone.

I went to A-1 Ted's Appliances after my washer was making a terrible noise during the spin cycle. My husband loaded the machine on our truck in the morning and I drove it there to be looked at since he was going to be at work. The owner, Ted, was such a nice and helpful man. I, also, had my 17 month old daughter with me and he didn't flinch or express any sort of annoyance that I had her with me. After I described what was happening when I was washing clothes, he explained there were a few different reasons for the noise and that one reason would be worth repairing and the other would not be due to costs of parts. I paid for the in shop service fee of $25, which is truly a bargain compared to other shops and was told I would be called about the washer. Ted called back to his service guys and one came up to unload the washer. He was so careful not to cause damage to my truck or washer while removing it. He just really had great customer service. While there, I happened to glance at a nice refrigerator that caught my eye. I left the shop and went home. By the early afternoon, I received a call from a gentleman named Lonnie and he explained that my washer was worth repairing. I was so grateful, because it was a front loader machine and they are not the cheapest to replace. They could have easily said it was not worth it and I would have purchased a new machine. Instead, I simply had to pay $65 for the repair! I agreed with the costs and gave the okay to repair. I, then, spoke with my husband about the refrigerator I saw and we agreed to buy it since we needed a new one soon. I called back to the shop and spoke with Ted about wanting to get the refrigerator as well. He was very nice and offered to deliver the washer with the refrigerator later that afternoon when the washer was complete. My fixed washer and a new refrigerator delivered on that same day?! I never write reviews, but to have that sort of service from a business is such a nice change. I had to write about my experience and the great service I received. Thanks A-1 Ted's Appliances! I will refer you to all my friends and family.

Same day service!!!! Reasonable!!! Professional!!!! I will tell others and they are in my phone memory for future if needed!!!

I decided to write this review because of my experience with another used appliance store. We used Ted's several times over a year ago, and were pleased. They were nice, polite and efficient. The service tech was a little chatty, but so is the wife so what can you do? They repaired a washing machine, and did not charge for a service call when they realized that there was an issue with the rental house's electrical. Unlike B& B whom I have reviewed earlier, I would reccomend them to anyone needing appliance repair.

Kevin just left my home after repairing my oven that had the lock mechanism for the cleaning cycle stuck. Not only did they fit me in the busy schedule of the day, but Kevin was here within 3 hours and had the problem fixed within 20 minutes. This is the third time I have used Ted's A-1 Appliance Repair and I am once again a happy customer.Thanks guys!

I have been using A-1 Ted's Appliances for approximately 15 years. Never a problem, always a good fix, reasonable prices and great, friendly service. They are my go-to appliance repair, and my favorite referral to family and friends.

Waited half a day for Kevin to come and repair refrigerator / freezer purchased from them and still under 6 month warranty. No Kevin and no call to explain why. No emergency or after hours number either. Half a day wasted and lots of food ruined.

We love A1 Ted's! My parents used them and now my husband and I have had them fix a washer twice, put in a new to us dishwasher and get a fridge going again. They are very reasonable and you never feel like you're getting scammed! I would recommend them to anyone!

My husband and I have been using this company for years....from washers and dryers to deep freezers. Friendly, courteous, and VERY reasonable. I've referred them to alot of other people, too, and they're very happy with their service and products.

I will never use this Company again! Kevin has been to my home 4 times now within a week to "try" and repair my refrigerator. It's still not working! This is day 8, without a frig. Each time he comes, he says to give it 24 hours, and it should work. Not! He also propped open a damper that goes from the freezer to the frig, get this, with a AA battery. Thats workmanship isn't it! Personally I'd prefer to replace that part if it's not opening and closing as it should on it's own, but apparently thats too much to ask from a repair Co. I told Kevin after 4 attempts to repair my 7 year old frig, and it still hasn't happened, to take back the parts and give me back the 430.00 to put towards a new one. He stated, " Thats not going to happen". How is this Company still in business???

Since we are new to the valley, we were referred to A-1 Ted's by our realtor who spoke highly of them. We are more than pleased! I was told from another appliance company that my front load washer needed a new pump. Kevin, the service tech was very prompt and polite. He discovered that it was my son's sock that somehow made its way to the filter blocking the water from discharging completely. Instead of paying for a new pump, we paid only for a service call. Kevin's honesty was such a blessing!! With the money we saved, we bought a spare refrigerator for our garage from them. I called my realtor thanking him for referring such an honest and friendly company to do business with.

My wife and I made the mistake of going somewhere else. Not only did we get a bad fridge, we got the run-around when we tried to get our money back. A-1 Ted's has knowledgeable folks working in the showroom and we have always been pleased with their technicians on other appliances we have had them repaired.

Didn't listen to jlk, or cj. Bummer! The tech didn't act very professional; he was distracted by phone calls, lost his manual screwdriver (didn't have a spare so he used his knife), dropped screws a lot, and adjusted the stove legs before setting in the stove only to have to re-adjust back to original settings.What disappointed me greatly about their service was the cost. They don't give you an hourly rate, and they don't give you an upfront estimate, so the service technician simply pulls a number out of the air when he is done. They don't typically waive the trip charge to the cost as many of the competitors do. For 20-30 minutes worth of real work using only a power scewdriver, and a knife, he wanted $195.00 I was told that's a break; he normally charges $275. I had a competitor across Valley estimate much less ($85 - $120). I chose A-1; they were close - I assumed it would cost less. They waived $45 service call, but still too high in my opinion. I'll won't use again.

incompetent ,charge you $200, blow your refrigerator up then hang up on you when you try to remedy the situation. Fair warning to you! Leave this one alone!

Kevin did a fantastic job repairing our dryer in record time and for an affordable price. He also sold us a washer when our washer broke. He explained that repairing our current washer would be more expensive than getting a refurbished one from him.We're extremely satisfied!

They came and fixed an old refridgerator.

I later bought a used larger refrigerator from them.

Delivery was on time and careful.

I have had no problems with it.

I called Ted's looking for a gas range for a rental unit. The salesman quoted a price of $329 for a bisque color. When I arrived at the store there was a sold sign on it and a piece of masking tape with "NEW $369.00". The salesman said this was the one. I told him he had quoted $329 over the phone. He denied it. When I pressed he finally admitted he quoted $329. He then said the owner paid more for it and now he had to get $369. I asked him why he quoted $329 and why he wouldn't honor the price. He said the owner wanted $369. I left when he refused to honor the price. Luck was on my side though. After doing a little research online I discovered the same item under a different brand for $254.95. I ordered it and picked it up at a warehouse. Now I have a nicer dealer, who honors their prices and, with a better deal then Ted's. All my appliance business will go them from now on. Bye Ted's, thanks for the screwing. I'll now save myself a couple thousand on refrigerators and stoves for the remodels.

I called yesterday mid-afternoon and was promised that "Kevin" would be here the same day. This morning I called again because "Kevin" never showed. They promised he would be here today - that was at 8 a.m.. At 4:00 they called to say he would be here between 5:30 and 6pm. At 6:45pm "Kevin" rang my doorbell. I informed "Kevin" that I sat here and waited for a day and a half for him to show up and that I have since called someone else to come out. I asked him how he felt wasting his time driving out here only to be refused at the door. I will be sending them a bill for MY time.
