I stopped there this afternoon. The sign on the door says that they are closed due to Coronavirus.

Ever since my wife and I bought our place 25+ years ago whenever one of our appliances has broken down and I attempted any D-I-Y repair (which have been aplenty) I have been able to get parts and (more important) excellent advice and tips from the folks at Howes. The couple of times when a job (usually refrigeration) has exceeded my D-I-Y level I've taken appliance to them and been done good. Prices reasonable, service timely and well done, and (again) GREAT help/support to the D-I-Yer. They know their stuff and are not the least bit afraid of 'losing business' by helping you to do it yourself. Independent local business - good old fashioned help.

I was looking for a high voltage diode for a microwave oven. Howe's did not carry the part but gave me suggestions about where I might be able to obtain the item. They were quite friendly and accommodating on the phone.

I've used Howes several times now, to anyone reading this I know you too are tired of getting shafted everytime you turn around. Appliande repair is complicated, Howes not only went the EXTRA step to make sure was done right, they also made every effort to save me money! These are good people who care about the service they provide -- go to them -- you'll be glad you did!!

We have used Mr. Howe and his partner Robert for years. They are so very knowledgable with a can do attitude, very professional and trustworthy and always fix what they set out to repair. I have used a lot of providers over the years and 7 years ago found this family business and hope they remain in business for years to come. Excellent. Would highly recommend.

The people at this small store have been so helpful. Many times we have needed to repair appliances and they have been able to tell us what to do (saving service calls). They also stock many parts. ###The few times they could not help, their recommendations were good.
