He did not listen to me when I explained issues with my knee. I showed him pictures of auto accident and what caused the injury. He said he was not interested as he does not go to court. Before xrays or MRI he was pushing a knee replacement even though I told him I am no where near a knee replacement, he wrote in his reports that MVA did not cause injury even though I did not have any issues before. Had cortisone shot which helped minimally and then a series of 3 orthovisc supplement shots. 1st shot was given and no issues or results, did not even feel the shot. 2nd shot was given 1 week later and when I tried to stand, my leg would not support my weight. I had to sit in office appr 15 minutes before I could walk. I was told this was normal even though the 1st shot had not caused any of these issues. I was in so much pain at home, I called the office to talk to him but was told he does not return calls. When I went for a 2nd opinion the surgeon told me that they totally missed the joint and they injected the gel into soft tissue. Surgeon that I got the 2nd opinion from looked at the same MRI and saw immediately where the injury was that was caused by the MVA. He scheduled a 20 minute procedure and 3 days after surgery I have less pain already. I have 2 tiny holes in knee that did not even require stitches. I would not recommend Dr Toth.
