Normally I'm not one for writing reviews. Being a Gilbert Road Self Storage customer of 1 to 2 units for the past 7 years I deem the above review a bit exaggerated. Throughout my past seven years of renting I've encountered one scorpion in the nook between the door track and wall. Quite honestly he was no match against the rubber mallet already in hand. I stuffed a styrofoam strip in it's place closing the case.



I commend Tom & Sheila for all their effort turning Gilbert Road Self Storage into the stellar storage facility that it is today. Tom & Sheila Hogue began managing GRSS five years ago. Both are friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Most importantly they're conscious of who's who on the property without prying. When storage is an asset needed in a business like mine; secured comfort becomes greatest quality at hand.



Originally I rented from "A-Self Storage" until the Nazi-owner cancelled my lease when I politely asked him for my monthly payment receipt. He's no longer in business and it doesn't surprise me the slightest. Pressed for time to relocate, I started renting from Gilbert Road Self Storage because the accessibility hours worked well with my schedule. Everything was set up over the phone & I never thought to meet the management at that time. The Dr.Frank-n-Furter Family was overseeing the property then. They kept the place barnyard clean & the horrific cat urine office stench would funk your clothes. Soon after questioning them about allowing a variety of Gilbert's homeless stay in the empty bays at night,... the no-homes & tranny-fam we're all part of the past,....



Tom & Sheila represent on-site quality management you can trust. I highly recommend Gilbert Road Self Storage for any & all of your safekeeping needs.

If you are looking for a secure storage facility with a great staff, Gilbert Road Self Storage is the place to go to. Tom and Sheila do a great job at running the place and the specials they offer can't be beat. Thanks for always making me feel welcome when I stop by.

I found the Golbert Road Self Storage Management to be very knowledgeable and responsive to my questions and requests. The unit was very small but it fit the needs that I had. The hours of operation fit all my needs and my experience with this company could not have been any better.

I have used storage several times in the past. My experience with them has been pretty generic...put your stuff in the storage unit and pay every month. The managers at Gilbert Road are different than most. They actually care about their facility and the people renting with them. Did you know that the concrete floor will draw the moisture out of your wood furniture? Putting down a sheet of plastic will help curb that.... Just one of many things I learned from them. Janice
