This office does not care if you live or die. The front desk clerks are immoral, unprofessional, and have zero concern for patient health. They will refuse medical care even if you beg them to help and even if you're early to an appointment. DO NOT GO HERE. The doctors here clearly do not care about patients either as they allow this to go on and are responsible for the reprehensible and sickening behavior of their office clerks. They should be ashamed.

Do NOT go to this place!!! Front desk staff is rude and very unprofessiona. I don't have anything against people with tattoos, I have them myself, but when youre working in the medical field and you have them all over your arms and hands, they should cover it up just a little to make the place look decent, very unprofessional, plus the bad attitude, that seems to get around throught the staff. I've been going to their locations, and I say it plural because it's impossible to get an appointment at the same place, trying to get help for some pain I've been having. Well, they told me to wait for a phone call from their referral office. The call never came. I kept calling them and calling and nobody could give me an answer on what was going on with this referral, so they kept telling me they would call me back. 6 months passed and still nothing so I physically had to go in and see NP Rachel Erdmann once again so I could get a written referral because my pain was getting worse. Well this lady then gets mad because I should have been calling the referral center, I said "I have been" and all she said was well it's weird they don't get back to you. I finally call the place they referred me to and they tell me they can't see me there because they can't treat me for anything.The receptionist says my regular Dr should treat me. So I went back to NP Rachel, and all of a sudden she had no idea why I was there or referred to this place, she couldn't do anything about it. After explaining myself about 10 times what my symptoms were, she still had no idea why I was there. I told her "you have my notes in your computer as well as my lab results. Even then I couldn't get her out of "I don't know what you want me to do.... I couldn't believe this!!! You go to a Dr to get help, but apparently you need to diagnose yourself. Don't go to her, worse NP ever!!!

Who hired the front office and medical assistant personnel? Those are the WORST. They actually make the practice seem worse than it is. I had to get my own insurance approval and get everything over to a specialist because they were still "working on it" after five days. Funny thing, though, I can get it done myself in less than two days. You have to keep calling and hounding them for everything.

Desert Grove Family Medical has the rudest office staff I have ever encountered. They are ignorant, hasty and have no idea what the term “customer service” means. The wait-time has never been a problem for me when I have been there. However, the front office is a nightmare every time I walk in. They look at me with a blank stare when I ask questions and make me feel horrible when I call over the phone and ask them to re-send information to another office, that they originally screwed up! If they hate their job so bad, and don’t consider themselves to be helpful people persons: DON’T GO INTO CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! You have to constantly call and repeatedly ask for things to get done. Very frustrating! Stay clear!

This practice only makes same day appointments. You must call right when the open at 8am. Maybe, if your lucky you'll get an appointment. My wife recommended them to me, she liked Dr. Lau. After three days of calling between 8am-8:10am, I finally got in. I was rushed in, and rushed out. I requested some blood work, cholesterol check, & to find out some other things going on, including a chest x-ray due to shortness of breath I'd been experiencing. The Dr. wrote up the requests, and I inquired about a skin rash. They printed out some information from the internet on my skin rash, and said it would go away in a couple months. Well, a year later I still have it, totally not what the good Dr. thought it was. This practice is all about the numbers, they are more concerned with your insurance than your health.
