Pet Set Grooming Shop at 7849 Farmington in Germantown Tn. Hired Stepson Stanley Christopher Carmody who beat Mikey my 9 pound Yorkie mix until he was unconscious on the floor and in need of medical attention. Laura Carmody owner of Pet Set could not explain why my dog was unconscious. Laura Carmody performed CPR on Mikey and when he became conscious she put him in a cage and started grooming another dog. Did not call me until hours later and there is a Vet office right across the street from Pet Set and she did not take him there .When I picked up Mikey from Pet Set he was flopped over and could not walk. I took him straight to the Vet where he was checked out and Mikey had 3 broken ribs, an acute concussion,neurological damage.could no longer walk or see. We had to euthanize him 6 days later because there was no chance of saving him. He was only 3 years old and sweet as he could be. Stanley Christopher Carmody was charged with Animal Cruelty and Plead Guilty got I day in jail and a 50 dollar fine. No Justice for Mikey.
