It is now called south Gastonia pawn.On 3-7-16 I visited this business and was approached by sales associate about a pressure washer that had carburetor problems and they could only get it to run using starting fluid and was selling it out the door for 60 dollars. that is what they had in it so I pulled on it a couple of times to make sure it was not locked down and see if it would at least fire instead it starts up for few seconds and I told the sales associate that I would take it. I went in to pay for it and associate told his manager it started then manager told me I had to pay 219 dollars because it started running after I was told it was broken and they was selling it for 60 dollars this may not be illegal but to me it sure is false advertising not to mention the 350 percent mark up now that I know they only loaned 60 dollars. Manager also told me i was not allowed back on premises because I asked to speak with owner wow is all i can say

Needed money for gas one evening. Used last of gas in van to drive to store arrived at 7:45 pm and they were closed. Luckily a friend happened by with a few dollars and I was able to return home. If you advertise being open until 8 pm, then you should be open until 8 pm. Makes me wonder about the business if something this simple is untrue. I won't be back and don't encourage others to go there.

the people that work here are very arrogant and rude. the prices for the items in there store are way higher then the other pawn shops in gastonia and some of the items are priced higher then new ones cost at a regular store. they take in beat up products and try to pass it on to customers. if it has a gas motor i would not trust it from this shop. I am a buyer only and do not pawn or sell to pawnshops but judging how they treated me as a buyer i would guess they would treat the people pawning stuff even worse. they need to hire people that are good with customers and actually are knowledgable about the products they take in.



response edit to jeffery:As it says above of couse i am associated with other pawn shops,I shop at all the pawn shops in gastonia and some in charlotte as well. to come on here like that and make a known problem worse by saying basically im a liar is all the proof anyone would need to have a informed dicision about using your pawn shop. i can say a good rule of business is not to call a customer a liar. lets see what I remember about your pawnshop... a beat kicker sub in a box for $70 when a new one runs $50 online. a beat up barly running stihl ms290 chainsaw for $300 when a new one is only $50 more. silver priced $3 higher then any other pawn shop around. A echo blower that the rings were fried in that you were trying to pass off as a good running blower.well the blower did run but BARLY and it obviously needed a new top end.

they are the greatest they take good care of people this is hands down the best pawn shop in gastonia
