My father's girlfriend inquired about renting a casket since she was having him cremated. She was told it would be just as expensive to rent one so she purchased a casket. It seems to me that this could not be the case. I haven't finished researching the legalities of this, but common sense tells you that she was mislead by someone taking advantage of a grieving woman. The service was beautiful, but I believe at a cost that was disproportionate to my father's needs. I know there are honest funeral services out there - I don't believe this business is one of them.I also had problems with them telling me two different things regarding the urn we wanted my father put in. Something just isn't right at this place. I would look for other services given the chance to do it over again.
