The Beaver Technology Center for Math & Science is recognized by the Texas Education Agency and provides academic education to more than 500 students. It maintains a staff of certified teachers that offers educational classes in music, arts, physical education, technology applications, reading, writing, social studies and math. The school offers a variety of activities, including field trips and academic competitions. The school has a library media center that directs the learning resource center that houses supplemental multimedia materials and a range of recreational and informational reading selections. It is a part of the Garland Independent School District, which operates several elementary, middle and high schools. The Beaver Technology Center for Math & Science has been operational for more than 45 years and is located in Garland, Texas.
