The Mental Health Association of Orange County is a nonprofit organization that serves more than 17,000 adults with severe and persistent psychiatric disorders. Incorporated in 1958, it offers a psychosocial rehabilitation program for persons with long-term mental illnesses to explore and develop social, occupational, leisure and living skills. The organization also addresses the issues related to socialization, relationship formation, transportation, education and employment. It administers back-to-work, hearing advocacy, homeless outreach and representative programs. The organization hosts special events and educational meetings.
