I had the most disappointing experience... i ordered a pair of glasses. I have medicaid and I thought maybe order a backup. I had to pay for my exam as my insurance doesn't cover it. I got 1 pair free with medicaid and paid $100. I was excited to get the second set as they fit amazing. I paid with my card and was told they would be ready at 2. I live about 5 hours out of town. I have tons of places here to get glasses from but thought I would help out my hometown. My glasses weren't done and the manager was completely rude. Wouldn't give me a refund. Told me that she would mail me my glasses for an additional $11. Didn't apologize and had a horrible attitude. I told her I couldn't stay for them to finish as there was a storm coming in. She became more rude. I left almost in tears because I have never been treated so rudely. They call me about 20 minutes later to tell me they broke my glasses and asked if I wanted a different pair. I said no i wanted the ones I chose. They said they would order it and it could take another week to 2 weeks. But i won't be there in time. I would have been alot more satisfied had the manager apologized and said we are really busy today we haven't gotten to your glasses yet. But since you have to leave town I can ship them to you for $11. But she was rude and I can't imagine how people can be so rude. She had no problem smiling in my face while I paid "cash" for my glasses. Next time I will go somewhere else. So much for trying to help out my hometown.

Do not ever go to this Optometrist Paul Graves or Vision Clinic! Their prices are outrageous and they have little selections to choose from. Management is currently being investigated by HMA Insurance as they have escalated prices for eye examinations for $130 when the average is $60. They have also included claims for lenses and glasses that were not received which is a ploy to keep customers coming back as they do not issue cash refunds, but instead store credits with erroneous fees to reduce what they actually owe you. The lack of professionalism by Business Manager/Owner Leslie Graves is more appalling as she is insensitive and unwilling to meet customer satisfaction. There are other optometrists in the Gallup area that have the professionalism to meet your eye care needs.
