The wait was way to long and it you want the worse pizza well you found the right place being from New York that would be a insult to the Italian people if you are on the mood for a nice your better off buying a frozen one from Walnut a Hell alot better

My only complaint about Satchel's is that they don't take credit cards. I've eaten at just about all the pizza joints in Gainesville and in my opinion Satchel's is the best one I've tried (I've been back many times). Their crust is crispy and flavorful, and all the toppings are extremely fresh. The atmosphere can’t be beet.

Satchel's Pizza is excellent. The place is always packed. But to me the most impressive feature is the way the employees are treated as equal partners. Fair wages and a strong sense of family are in play here. The whimsical decor and attitude are very welcoming. The house Salad is very good too!
