I have been taking my animals to these groomers for over 18 years with 4 different dogs and can"t say enough about how good they are. Always been happy with the treatment of our animals. The testament to their abilities and care of their clients is that it's very difficult to get an appointment because they are always booked with longterm satisfied customers.

I have gone to Especially Dogs about once every 5 - 6 weeks with my dogs for 16 years. I love them! Ruth groomed my boy, Oliver, until he died in 2014 and now grooms my new boy, Quincy. The entire staff is kind and helpful. Ruth loves the dogs as if they were her own and has always let me know if she comes across an issue with them that might need medical attention (ear infection, etc.) I am truly surprised at the review I just read as I've never witnessed them being mean or mistreating a dog. I often visit for 30 - 45 minutes when I drop off or pick up and have nothing but the highest regard for the entire staff. I volunteer for a shelter and they are also kind enough to maintain a donation box there for collars, leashes etc and often donate items that have been discontinued from their inventory. Love them!

The groomers have no patience for the animals.



FYI- I took my dog to this place because it was up the street from my house. As any worried parent who leaves their child somewhere, especially someone new, I decided to arrive earlier than the anticipated pick up time. When I walked in, the groomers didn't hear, so to their surprise, I witnessed them yelling at the dogs that were barking and being mean to another.



I was mortified. Lord only knows what I wanted to say and do to these people. But I remained as calm paid my bill and have NEVER been back since.



They are EVIL... No one should mistreat a helpless animal
