I went in hoping to find someone to take in some kittens that were dropped off at our doorstep, in a box, and this so called "Shelter" wouldn't take them in. I understand that they may not have had room, but when I walked in and asked if they could, they replied with, "We have no room for anymore pets." And I clearly saw a few cages that were empty and no pets in them.

You claim to give pets second chances and basically are turning down that second chance to these pets. Also, they were at the local Family Fun Days and they were showing dogs and puppies off, and these dogs had fleas and other things all over them. It was disgusting and disturbing to see.

We adopted 'Elsie' on January 2nd, 2009. She was a 2 year old small mixed terrier. She is the love of our life. She had been nuetered and was give the necessary shots to protect her. The people who work here save dogs that would otherwise have been put to sleep. Their reward is the satisfaction of knowing that they have saved a healthy animal from destruction. Thank you so very much for having saved 'Else' for us!

I adopted a puppy from Second Chance Animal Shelter. She was suppose to be up to date on all of her vaccines, but 5 days after I got her she was on deaths door. At this time the vet is unsure if she has a series of serious infections or if she has distemper, which she should have been vaccinated for and there is no cure. This shelter allows you to bring pets back and trade them if you are dissatisfied, but even after 5 days she is like another child to me. I can't give her back! So I am stuck paying a lot of vet bills for a dog that I had to pay them $100 for, and that should have been healthy. Hopefully she doesn't die! Buyer be aware!!!
