This place was great last year under different ownership and with different instructors. Unfortunately earlier this year, the ownership changed and they have a new primary instructor named Brandon Gill. The new owner constantly bothers the parents during classes by trying to sell them things like T-shirt, gear, etc...it really gets annoying and reeks of desperation for money. Brandon Gill is a decent instructor, but is very, very unprofessional. I have personally witnessed him going off on parents, yelling at them in front of everyone, including the kids. On one occasion, a lady's son got injured by a kid who wasn't following the rules and instead of correcting the kid, he just let it go and when the mother confronted him, he yelled at her and told her to go find another martial arts place. This "instructor" also got angry with me once and yelled at me because I "stepped on his mat", because my child got injured due to 3 instructors...in a class of 12 students, weren't paying attention to what was going on and I had to step in or my child would have gotten majorly injured. I pulled my child out of this class because the environment is toxic. Instructor Gill loves to yell, especially at parents and kids get hurt due to them not paying enough attention. The new owner is also very shady and when we went to cancel, she tried to play games and charge us a bunch of money. We actually had to threaten legal action and file a complaint with the BBB before she would back off. Just stay away and save yourself a lot of trouble.
