I have had my riding mower for about 10 yrs without any issues until now. I called around learning that servjce is hard to find and when available quite expensive. I called Harrison who stopped by same day did a diagnostic, quoted a very reasonable price. He ordered the parts, installed within two days and I was ready to mow. I did call back as an adjustment had to be made and he promptly responded, showed up early the next day and made the adjustment. I was more than pleased with his knowledge and personal demeanor and plain good manners. He has all the technical know how and courteous personality to make any repair needed. I highly recommend his services and hope he does well. He only needs a little better exposure to the public to be found. By the way he makes house calls.

I had to call Harrison at the last minute because my lawn mower stopped working. I called him up to get a general estimate on price and to see what his availability was. He said he could come out today. I was surprised that he was available, but thrilled because my grass really needed to be cut. He came right out to my house within about 30 minutes of my initial call. It was so convenient to not have to load up the mower and bring it somewhere.... wait for them to get around to it... then have to make time to go pick it up and lug it home. When Harrison got to my home, he explained what his plan of action was and explained what he was doing as he did each check. This was great to know! The first thing he did was he turned over my lawnmower and saw the horrid condition of my blades. Instead of making me go out and buy more blades, which are expensive, he sharpened them for me! He emptied out the carburetor and said he thinks he knows precisely what the problem was. He found water in my gas! And not just a little bit! So, he explained how to prevent that in the future. He checked several other things and we came to the conclusion that the gasoline was definitely the problem. He emptied the gasoline and refilled it at no additional charge. He even topped off the oil and did some additional mechanical checks. He did this all at one set fee! Are you kidding me?!?!? Most mechanics would have put a little gas in the tank...... because you need it to see if it fixed the engine. But I don't think most would have sharpened the blades or topped off the oil. And while the oil that he added was just a small amount, he saved me a LOT of money not having to replace the blades. He had said the price to fix it was one set price. That was not just the trip fee... not just the fee to diagnose it... but that cost would fix it. I am thrilled. And with my sharpened blades it was so fast to mow today. HIGHLY recommend.
