(2/2)I asked “What if, God forbid, she gets the dress and there’s something wrong with it or it’s wrong order? What is the process of returns/exchanges.” I asked this question to cover our bases and ensure that if something did go wrong there would be sufficient time to rectify the situation. Only then did Debbie look up and snapped back in an accusatory manner, “well that makes me suspicious about you all,” as if we had some ulterior motive. At this point we decided it definitely was not worth it if she behaved so defensively and rudely to a valid question (which now after reading several reviews that explained the hell they went through after reciiving the wrong dress or a dress with blemishes) to take the chance and do business with this vendor.
We sent an email expressing our disappointment in service and Debbie had the audacity to reply denying her disgusting behavior. Go somewhere else, target...the dollar store...anywhere is better than this vendor!!!! Unless you hate yourself then walk right in.

(1/2)Believe the bad reviews. DO NOT SHOP HERE! I went in the store along with my mother and sister-in-law to check in on a dress for my soon-to-be sister-in law. We spoke to Debbie who had been in frequent contact with the bride and her mother up to less than an hour before we arrived. Debbie was extremely rude and acted as if we were not worth her time our energy. We first introduced ourselves obviously and explained that we were the party who traveled from MD to check in on a dress. She rudely replied (not bothering to look up from a catalog she was reading) saying that she speaks to a lot of people and didn’t know who we were (remember she was reminded of our visit less than an hour before our arrival). When it finally came to her recollection, and she retrieved the dress she plopped it infront of a like if several other dresses right in the lobby and we had to request some privacy where we could inspect the dress and FaceTime the bride. She told us we would have to wait despite seeing an empty dressing room that was immediately available.

When we got back to the dressing room she hovered over us the entire time and gave us no privacy to have a conversation. We eventually asked to see the same dress in another material and she said it was on hold for another bride so we would not be able to take it out and inspect it but she could give us a peek to compare the fabrics. Fair enough. When she brought the dress back she literally showed it to us for 5 seconds and then whisked away BOTH dresses without even asking if we were done looking at the first. We were not.

Before we left we decided to ask some questions about the ordering process at the counter. Debbie still continued to be rude and did not offer the simplest of courtesy to look up from her catalog and have a conversation which would have taken less than 2 minutes. I asked “What if, God forbid, she gets the dress and there’s something wrong with it or it’s wrong order? (Contd in separate review)

NEVER GO!!!!!

I left the store with my bridal gown in hand crying because I was verbally abused by the store manager. No bride should ever leave a bridal salon with their dress in tears.

Stay Away! They forgot to or...

Stay Away! They forgot to order additional lace when the dress was ordered. Then they snuck in an extra fee at the end. The clerks treat customers rudely, I wouldn't recommend this place at all.

I don’t know why the additional lace we wanted was not originally ordered with the dress in February, but once the dress came in and before they called us for the first fitting they should have confirmed that they had the lace. Then, at our first fitting when the young clerk couldn’t find the lace she should have made a note for the owner to find it the next business day. At that time if it wasn’t in the store it should have been ordered. Shame on me for not being more forceful and insisting that I see the lace in August, but shame on them for not realizing it was missing after our fitting. When they finally admitted it was missing on September 20th and ordered it they did not make any mention that what I was paying was an estimate or partial payment. If that was the case it should have been written on my receipt that it was a partial payment and additional funds would be (or might be) due after it came in. On the 28th when we went in and the sleeves were cut and tacked into the dress no one brought up that additional money was due for the lace even though I did make a purchase of a bra and supposedly they brought up our account on the computer when I paid for the bra. I don’t know the truth about the $75 fee, did the lace really cost $225 and not the $150 I paid or was the $75 fee a rush shipping fee. I don’t know and I don’t care – the service at Mia Bella not only is sub-par it is deceitful!

I have had nothing but trouble...

I have had nothing but trouble with this place. I am extremley upset with their lack of professionalism and terrible customer service. It has definitely made my wedding planning beyond stressful! I ordered my bridesmaid dresses from there and they told me that a flower, which was on the dress and I hated, could be removed by the maker...when that wasn't the case. After my girls had ordered their dresses and arived at Mia Bella, to my suprise, the flowers were attached. They didn't bother to call me and let me know that the girl who had informed me, multiple times, that the flower could be removed, in fact couldn't. As for my flower girl dress...we went in, got her sized and picked out her dress, yet when her mom came in a week later to pay, Mia Bella had failed to write down my flower girl's measurements or the dress that we had picked out! When the owner asked the flower girls mom what size my flower girl is..the owner replied..."Size 14? And she's a flower girl?" As if that wasn't enough, the owner took the liberty of ordering a size 12, without calling or letting us know. According to the owner, the flower girl dresses don't come in a size 14, but that would have been nice to know at the time they were measuring my flower girl. We ordered many things from Mia Bella and most everything took longer than they said it would. I came into Mia Bella numerous times and the owner still didn't know my name. I felt very unimportant in a time in my life that I should feel special. Not even ONCE had the Owner appologized or shown any sympathy for all their screwups. That is definitely not a way to run a store.

Everyone in Fresno please don't go anywhere this store. This so called couture store is the most low class place I have ever seen. By the way they sell all these fancy dresses that the get from downtown in southern California for a quarter of the price they rip you off with. The bridal veils they sell are also purchased for the quarter of the price! extremely rude customer service, the owner and son like nobody except themselves! They treat everyone including their own employees like trash! They order you dress big or small they don't care as long as you pay for it! Then they tell the customers that it can be altered, which is completely a lie! a seamstress is not a miracle worker, the owner should stop lying to the customers for her gain, then blame it on the company or the seamstress. Stay away form this store! people like the owner and son of this store don't deserve to rip off, look down, lie and cheat innocent customers..........

I purchased my wedding gown fr...

I purchased my wedding gown from them, paid in full on the day I fell in love with it. They promised me they would make the changes I wanted at no extra charge since I paid in full. After many appointments that I had made and they were never ready, or my dress was not there, 8 months go by and they say my dress is ready. My dress was ruined! They sewed two different colored satins together, put the ugliest embelishment on the neck line and then the dress no longer fit! I had to take my dress to another seamstress to have my dress repaired, or basicly remade. I have two weeks to my wedding and they have contacted my seamstress and want me to pay for the extra satin. They are nothing but trouble. The owner leaves nasty messages on my phone, and her son is just as awful. They told me that the mistakes made to my dress are my problem and that I need to pay for it. Many problems also occured with my bridesmaids dresses as well. Save yourself a lot of stress by skipping this store!

Absolute DISASTER!

Not only is this place over priced but they have no customer service. every time we booked an appointment we would still wait for about an hour to be helped. the lady doesn't know how to measure. she ordered the all the bridesmaid dresses 4 sizes to big for everyone, after we had expressed our concerns. once we receive the over sized dresses she still didn't want to alter them for free because of her mistake. the place looks couture but it is just looks. don't waist your money on this place.

this shop needs to be avoided if you value being treated like a valued customer. They have the worst customer service in the business and are very rude. they promise whatever you want and lie when you don't receive what you ordered--get everything in writing and use extreme caution when you deal with them--we had nothing but heartache with them!
