Washington High School, located in Fremont, Calif., is a college preparatory school that is part of Fremont Unified School District. It enrolls more than 2,000 students in grades nine through 12. It provides a comprehensive educational program, including core subjects, such as mathematics, language arts, social studies, computer studies and science. Students are involved in the life of their school, participating in student government, academic competitions, community service and a variety of student-interest organizations. It offers many teams and individual sports, including football, volleyball, basketball, track and tennis. Washington High School includes career objectives in all content areas throughout the curriculum.
