UNHAPPY CUSTOMER

I recently purchased a brown Loveseat lounger sofa w/pullout leg rests, along with $100 of furniture insurance, which I can now understand why the salesperson, Mohan, insisted I purchase.

The floor sample at the store, in the same model I purchased, had easy pullout and retractable leg rests. This feature was something I was looking because of recent shoulder and knee replacement surgeries. After the Loveseat was delivered, I was extremely disappointed to find out how difficult it was to use this important feature.

When I called the store to complain, I was told to be patient, that this feature fwould improve with time, and get easier to open and close with use. We waited, it didn't get better, meanwhile, the warranty period on the Loveseat was running out.

Last weekend, I went back to the store in person. I spoke to the salesperson, Mohan, who sold me this piece of a crap.. He told me that as a Salesperson, he was not responsible for defective furniture he sells. Instead, he offered me the 800# to call and took my name, address and phone number, in case he received a call.

I called the 800# Mohan gave me, and over two days there was no answer. On the third day, after the number rang and rang, a man answered and told me to "Wait a minute" while he did something at the other end of the line. He didn't put me on hold but after waiting five minutes, I said, "Hello?" a few times. Not getting a response I hung up.

This is the worse customer service I ever experienced. EVER!!! One would think this company would bend over backwards for their customers, especially during these poor economic times..

BEWARE: DON'T BUY FROM THIS STORE!!!

Beware: misleading pricing and bad service

I went to Jennifer's to buy some small end tables for the living room. It turned out that the prices they advertised ($200-300 per pair) didn't include one hundred dollars shipping fee!!! Not only they jack up prices by 33-50% with these hidden fees, they also take at least 2 weeks to deliver these smallish pieces of furniture. They also refused delivering to the store for a lesser price with their own next shipment, even though I promised to pick up the items on the delivery day.





We left the store feeling very disappointed and fooled. The salesperson behaved as if he only cared about getting our money, without any intention to provide good customer service or to find a way to reduce that rediculouly high shipping charge. We will not shop at Jennifer's again. Jennifer's is a large store chain, and they should be ashamed of such scams.
