Nicole, and Sue, are the only groomers that have cared for my cocker spaniel and he loves them! He hates to be groomed, but he loves their "bedside manner" and their grooming skills are fantastic - always better than what I could ask for, and their prices are competitive, while their expertise and skill level is excellent.

Professional, friendly, thorough, skilled groomers are Nicole and Sue. Nicole has been grooming my dog for 7 years. Being a "found" dog with matted hair, he was skittish of grooming at first, but very quickly grew to love his grooming. They do a fantastic job and work around my impromptu work schedule, which is invaluable. Whether you get the full groom, which makes my dog crazy happy, or just get a wash, your dog will feel specially cared for and not hesitate to return again and again. If you bring your dog(s) to Tails of Idlewild, you will be delighted with the results and quickly become repeat customers.

Tails of Idlewild is the best grooming salon I have ever been to. Sue and Nicole are wonderful people and do such an amazing job. I brought my dogs to them when they were in Stafford and followed them to their new shop in Fredericksburg. The place is so warm and friendly. My Border Collie who is very shy of new situations walked in and felt at home. She is no longer nervous about getting groomed because the atmosphere is so calming. She just adores Sue and Nicole. My first impression of the shop was warm and friendly. The most important thing was my dogs felt very comfortable. I was going to a shop on 610 and the difference was amazing.

It is clean, open, and they are experienced groomers. I have been to places that say they are cheaper but they add a littlle here and there and it ends up costing more. I did not get that at Tails of Idlewild. They go above and beyond. My dog has never looked so good or ever been happy to go back until now. I recommend this to peaple who want the best for their beloved pets. WHAT HAVE YOU GOT TO LOSE, YOU GET 20% OFF THE FIRST GROOM.

I have visited their shop once and its so charming.Sue and Nicole are the best!!!! Ihavent had a chance to get my dog there yet. But both of them have done my dogs before and it was a great experince, the dogs looked great. They are very good people and they really care about you and your pet. I agree! They are great. I really like the personal service, they go above and beyond. Its like going to the old mom and pop shops. I highly recommend them.

Hard to find, but well worth the look. Nicole and Sue treated my dog as one of their own. I now have the best looking Bichon in the neighborhood.

Tails of Idlewild treated my golden retriever Betsy as if she was their own. Very reasonably priced and quality grooming. Nicole & Sue are the best!
