After reading all the positive reviews, I made an appt with Lisa. Having to wait for her to finish up with another client for twenty minutes was fine, but an hour and a half later I left with wet hair and no better style than what I walked in with. My family couldn't even tell it had been cut. The issues I had with my last stylist were not resolved and my hair is still lacking an actual shape or style. Lisa is a lovely person, very friendly and attentive with reasonable prices. I just need someone who can give me the style I had before moving to the area.

I decided to try Lisa after doing a web search for salons up north, as I had been going to a high end salon in Carytown, Richmond and just felt like I needed a change. I loved my experience! Yes, she is a solo salon owner and the only master stylist, but that is just what made the personalized attention I received such a refreshing change! I found her to be warm, welcoming and very much dedicated and knowledgeable in her craft. She did use the razor to cut very little off of my long thick hair, and WOW what a huge difference that made!!! My other master stylist also razor cut my hair, so I am very accustomed to it. I have had an onslaught of compliments on my hair and how it transformed my whole appearance, from how soft and shiny the sulfate free Enjoy shampoo and conditioner have made it to just how gorgeous I look!!! Well worth my time and the trip up from Bumpass, Va. I loved my morning with Lisa and loved the personal time she spent only on me! I highly recommend her if you are looking for a talented stylist who gives uncommon personalized attention and time at a more than reasonable price. I look forward to my trim in 8 wks. ��������

I was visiting my hometown of Fredericksburg and was looking for a hair cut and style on the day before I left to return home. I called Lisa at Cool Looks, not expecting to get in on such short notice. To my surprise she found a place for me in the evening and gave me one of the best hair salon experiences I have ever had.

Lisa created a relaxing atmosphere and transformed my description of a desired style into the perfect cut. I took away from the experience a great haircut I really like and a lot more knowledge about how to keep my hair healthy, and looking good.

If you wonder whether all the laudatory remarks made by clients can possibly be true, they are! Thank You, Lisa!

Set my appointment for 9:00am arrived at 8:50am no one at the salon. Waited until 9:15 still no one at the salon. Checked my email because a reminder was sent to me and I was there at the right time and day. This is the second time I have had to wait for my stylist to show up for my appointment. I am a stickler for being on time. I know things come up and I usually give the benefit of the doubt but when it happens twice I then feel like my time isn't important to that person. There needs to be more help in the salon. There is no front desk help. Lisa has to stop during her hair cuts to answer the phone, take the money, greet people at the front and that in turn creates longer haircuts, colors or what ever service she is doing. A person usually has a long waiting time if they are in the middle or end of the day. I specifically asked for her first appointment because I've had to wait and have seen others having to wait and it is usually because Lisa has fallen behind at the start of the day. She is an exceptional stylist and very knowledgable in her field but I don't want to spend hours just to get a haircut or color. This is very unfortunate.

Went there this morning at 9am and the door said they opened at 9am so I waited a few minutes. No one came, so we went to the bank. Came back around 9:25am and still no one there. Disappointed but hope everyone is ok.

I went to another salon for a cut, and even though I took a picture of the exact style I wanted, I left there very disappointed because the cut I got was nothing like what I asked for. After a couple days of suffering with a cut I hated, I went online and came across Cool Looks, after reading the rave reviews about Lisa I decided to book an appointment and see if she could fix the bad cut. She totally fixed it and gave me the exact cut that I wanted in the first place, I left the salon VERY happy and will NOT be going anywhere else to have my hair done!

OMG!!!! What a great hair cut! I love it! I love it! I have been looking for a hair stylist who can actually cut hair in layers, and not chop it up, and say it's layers. Well after many years, and I mean many years of being disappointed hair cut after hair cut, and doing my best afterwards to make my hair look decent, I finally found a hair stylist who knows what she's doing! Lisa is THE best! I am extremely happy with the final results!! Not only was I thrilled with the final results, but even when my hair was still wet, my hair looked great. After she dried it, it looked really great, and after she styled it, wow, it looked fabulous! Lisa not only listens to you when you tell her what you like, she does it. She cut my hair exactly like I pictured, I take that back, she cut it better then I could ever imagine!! I could tell she really listened. She takes her time, and she loves hair. You can see the enjoyment she gets out of cutting, and styling a persons hair. She educates you on how to make your hair healthier as well. She's a kindhearted soul. No one will ever ever touch my hair again but Lisa. She is the best hair stylist. I've died and gone to hair stylist heaven. lol Oh I almost forgot, while she was cutting my hair someone who had gotten another service Lisa offers (for the face) raved about it. This person said of all the years she's had this service done, never had it ever turned out this great. If you want to make an appointment to see Lisa. She books early, especially for Saturdays. I went on a week day, and she by shear luck had an opening. Lisa, thanks so much. I've gotten so many compliments since my hair cut, and my husband loves it. He said "this is by far the best hair cut you had in years"! I was happy he said that, but then I was like "wwwwwhat?! ; ) But I knew what he meant. I totally agree with him!

Lisa gives a beautiful razor cut. She is very professional and really knows how to style your hair.

Lisa is AWESOME!!! She knows hair down to a science, she listens to your needs, questions, cares, and concerns. She will beautify your hair and leave you with more confidence than you came in with :) Her shop is spacious, neat, clean and so welcoming!!! She is sooo welcoming, friendly and accomodating. ALL hair types are welcome!! I'm african and she did my hair better than it's EVER been done before!!

Great personalized service from a highly skilled and knowledgeable stylist. Lisa goes the extra mile to make sure your salon experience is top quality. Went recently for my daughter's first eyebrow wax. Lisa was amazing -- so patient and kind to my daughter, listened to exactly what we wanted, and the result was beautiful and natural-looking. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. We will definitely return!

Lisa has been my stylist now for almost a year and the thing I like best about going to Cool Looks is that I feel as though she has my best interest at heart. She cares about her clients and the health of their hair and that really shows in her approach. Also Lisa has a lot of great ideas and great style.
