First time went there, all the waitress did was complain how she DIDN'Twant to be there. Second time, charged $27.00 for one crab cake. Will never go back again. Too many good restaurants in the Baltimore area - if a really good restaurant opened close to May's they would be out of business in no time.

This is a wonderful resturant! The seafood is absolutly wonderful and the people are friendly. It's not a large place, but its worth the wait. You can "pick" crabs, or order crab imperial, crab cakes, whatever, there all wonderful with large pieces of crab. I don't think there is any filler in the crab cakes. If you like seafood you would not be disappointed.

Food is good. I am not the biggest seafood lover. The fish sandwich for lunch is filling and good, with a good price. I also once had the fried mixed platter and my husband for the regular mixed seafood platter. I guess some food is priced on market price, so there is no price on the menu. So after 2 mixed seafood platters, not all that much food, it was over $70. I will stick with the fish sandwich.

I have eaten there often, living in Frederick. The food is excellent. Crabs are well seasoned and the hot crab dip is outstanding. It's owned and runned by family and the waitresses are familial and friendly. The restaurant is very casual and the servings are generous. Broiled fish, sweet potato fries, hush puppies, etc. are all good too. Carryout is very convenient and there's plenty of extra parking in the rear.

Perfect place for seafood! From the looks of it passing by it looks like it would be nothing, but usually this place is packed so a reservation is highly recommended. The food is great and the service there is wonderful. You are always taken care of and rarely ever have to ask for refills. I highly recommend this place if you like crabs and seafood!
