Provided by YP.comMike has always answered my questions honestly and has repaired only what was needed. I have tried the other european repair shops and had very poor service and repairs. I highly recommend Wursters to all my friends. Mike is a very honest and knowledgeable person. His integrity and due diligence is priceless.

Provided by YP.comThis business and the owner honored my warranty and they were very helpful, repaired my BMW and offered to park
the car where I could pick it up after business hours,(due to my schedule). I appreciate their
integrity and helpfulness, Thank You.

Provided by YP.comKept my car for 5 business days. Failed to communicate what they were doing. Every time I called for an update I was given the same vague answer with no information. Very high quote for the repair needed. Ended up getting the work done elsewhere for 30% less. Added charges to my invoice they did not discuss with me beforehand. Avoid this place! Take your vehicle elsewhere!

Provided by YPmobileI agree with another reviewer that Wurster's repairs are extremely over priced. I have had two occasions where the mechanic instead of troubleshooting to determine what the problem was he stated replacing costly parts until he got to the failed switch. It wasn't the windshield wiper motor that was bad; it was the switch. Asked Mike the owner about why mechanic didn't troubleshoot and the response was they didn't have time to troubleshoot. This time my MGB was running rough. After replacing the distributor and a couple other parts, they charged over $1000. The mechanic had to help me start the car and noticed he had not adjusted the choke cable to work. When asked where the chrome oil filter cover was, he admitted he had destroyed it trying to remove it. He gave the destroyed cover to me rapped in a plastic bag. No apologies and they didn't replace the part. I guess he couldn't determine that it took a 2mm allen wrench. I asked the owner for an estimate on replacing the throw out bearing and the estimate is over $ 2200. I got another estimate from another company and their price is $750 plus the $200 in parts. Like the other reviewer stated, the owner is very defensive and does not offer to reduce price for the mechanics errors.

Provided by YP.comWill not stand by work when misdiagnosed and thousands of dollars dumped into repairs that don't address original problem. Repeatedly missed sources of multiple mechanical and electrical issues, causing charges for laborious diagnostics and replaced (questionably necessary) parts. (They won't show you where parts are bad, they'll just show up on your invoice. Ever heard of a $225 hose?) Another local reputable shop quickly found the cause of my problems after multiple attempts and very high repair bills failed to yield results at Wursters. I don't believe they are dishonest, but when they miss the mark repeatedly, will only come up with excuses and rationales that only serve their own interest, not the customers. Highly defensive and takes offense when any hint that their "master" technician might have made some errors. A long history of being in business does not always equate to competency, proficiency, or good value. Keep this in mind, and definitely get a second opinion when faced with a large bill here. With one particular issue, a second opinion elsewhere saved me $1100 I would have been charged if I had given the green light for their original diagnosis. On another occasion, after deferring on a diagnosis of replacing a $100+ hose, turns out it was simply just needing a new clamp where it had been leaking from. When you've addressed the same problem 3 times and still no progress, don't expect to get a refund or even any sympathy here. Just keep breaking out your debit card one trial and error at a time.
