My husband and I were referred to Pewitt Brothers several years ago, and since then our children and grandchildren have become their customers as well. Jim Pewitt is a man of integrity. He and his team are honest and professional. Over the years we have had major and minor repairs done to a variety of vehicles, and we have never had a bad experience with the company. They only do necessary repairs and their prices are very fair. I highly recommend them.

Beware!! Wouldn't let them air my tires. Took an F250 diesel to them in Dec 2013 because it was blowing white smoke and had leaked antifreeze. They said the EGR cooler needed to be replaced. By April 2014 they still hadn't fixed the truck (lots of excuses). We started calling and stopping by frequently so they finally decided to do the repair. In the process of repairing the truck they let the number 8 cylinder fill up with antifreeze and didn't bother to clean it out so when the truck was started it liquid-locked, bent the rod and broke the piston. Of course, it also needed a new head gasket after they broke the rod and piston. The original estimate to fix our truck was $1500, the final bill was $5115.46 but they did agree to take off $500. (gracious of them, right?) Yes, you read that right, they broke our truck and we had to pay for their screw-up. I did talk to the owner and he essentially said that since it broke while they were in the process of fixing the original problem it was not their problem. This business did not take responsibility for it's carelessness and they shouldn't be trusted. Can you afford to pay for a major mistake made by someone else?

I've taken two cars to them and they have done a great job. The quote was resonable and they charged me less than the quote. I will definitely take my cars back to them.
