I have never written a review before for a business. However, I felt compelled to after speaking with Dennis over the phone. We are currently relocating to Franklin and needed a good painter. I checked the reviews and looked over the website for 99 Dollar Painter. I was very excited at the reviews and what I saw on the website. So I called the number for Dennis on the website. This is what was said:



Dennis-"Hello this is Dennis."

Me- "Hi, Dennis?"

Dennis- "This is Dennis, who is this?" The tone used indicated he was annoyed with me calling, plus I had an out of state number.

Me- "I'm sorry, I was calling for an estimate, but you don't seem very friendly?"

Dennis-"I don't think you want an estimate from me buddy."



Now, maybe he was having a bad day. Or he thought I was a sales call or something. In which case I understand. However, I don't think that was the case, if it was he should have told me and we could have moved on with getting an estimate after a good laugh. Instead he snapped back with "I don't think you want an estimate from me buddy." Obviously, Dennis doesn't need my money and that's okay.
