We purchased a used engine on 8/15/16 and upon installation several days later, found the engine to be broken. It was overheating immediately because coolant was getting past the cylinders on the left side of the engine, as well as no compression in cylinders 2 and 4, and weak compression in cylinders 1 and 3. It took 11 weeks for Chicago JDM to allow the engine to be dropped off for repair - after giving us the obvious run-around by lying, delaying, dodging, and not returning phone calls. We had to pickup the engine a week later and be further inconvenienced. Upon installation the second time, the engine was overheating just as severely. We were told the piston rings were fried and the shop they hired for the repair told us the motor was "junk". It obviously has way over 60k miles on it. Now, 4 months later, Chicago JDM is refusing to provide us with a working engine.
