Professional, Responsive and Empathetic. My dad was in the hospital and we were quickly told he must move on to hospice care. In the mean time we had been referred to Home Instead Senior Care by both the hospital and hospice facility, so we thought we might call them. The phone call we made was so reassuring that this was the right choice. She was so empathetic and understanding of the situation we were in. The owner, a very nice gentleman, met with us at the hopistal on a Saturday to review Dad's needs and to do an assessment. we were so impressed. While other companies had blown us off, Home Instead honestly took it personal and we felt like we were a priority. Dad was discharged, came home and HomeInstead sent their office manager over to do a very early morning introduction with dad's caregiver. We were anticipating a caregiver just showing up on her own, but it was definitely reassuring to have the manager there in the morning to break the ice. We immediately hit it off with our caregiver. Shortly after she arrived, we found out the hospice home had a room for dad. We felt so bad, but Home Insted was gracious and kept saying it was best for him and all of us. I am so impressed with the responsiveness and professionalism of this company (totally different than other places I called). They truly care about what they do. They never once tried to tell us not to move forward with hospice. In fact, they championed for hospice and provided ways they could work with hospice. I truly appreciate that they never once made us question the difficult decision we had made to engage hospice services. I wish we hadn't waited for so long to get someone in to help my dad. I honestly can say, this is genuinely a caring group of people at Home Instead Senior Care. I will never stop singing their praises. I wish I had contacted them sooner.

I have used Home Instead Senior Care for my Dad for the past 2 years. I travel a lot for work and am able to be away peacefully knowing that my Dad is in good hands. The office staff is fantastic. I can always reach them and I know that they will always call with any concerns. My Dad has developed a truly genuine relationship with his caregiver. She is like a daughter to him and the rest of the family accepts her as part of the family. She is really compassionate and professional. I highly recommend Home Instead Senior Care.

So is the other ones also written by the owners. They are NOT NOT NOT reputable and I don't want my name, or false advertisement associated with them. Thank you!

The care givers are poorly paid, poorly treated and the owners are beyond unethical. You may get a fantastic care giver but behind that is a poorly paid human being without the chance of even a minimal yearly increase. The care givers are spoken to and treated like second class citizens, many of whom are to afraid to speak up to the owners for fear of losing their jobs. It is a valid fear as it happens quite frequently. They are told to stop writing when adressed to do so and if they don't they are quickly reminded who's in charge during office visits.They are told over and over who's the boss and that their job is always on the line.It is a very tense atmosphere that many endure for the sake of income.They are made to listen to many very opnionated and one sided views of the owner though the majority of those employed are not in fact Irish Catholic and some do, yes, including myself love Obama and that's ok.Care givers can't even so much as say they like the Cubs (as does my fathers c

While my mother was going through the final stages of breast cancer we used Home Instead. At 1st I felt guilty for "passing" my mother off and I cried at the thought. It was very stressful. But I had to continue to work and I have a house and a husband and my brothers live out of state and I felt all the pressure. Hospice came in to help as well but it wasnt enough. Just knowing my mother was alone while I had to be at work and take my kids here and there was healt wreching. We had a care giver who was so friendly and came right on in and was like part of the family. She was at my mom's bedside with us when she passed. And we made sure she was at the wake and funeral. Thanks so much for the care you gave my mother in her final days and thanks so much to the care you take in hiring top notch care givers. Thanks to the Frankfort IL Home Instead staff as well, they are wonderful!

I started using Home Instead for my mom several months ago. She had a mild stroke last year & her care has become my & my family's priority, however, between the kids, work and just our own sanity, we needed to find some help. Home Instead came highly recommended & I am so happy they did. We are ecstatic with our caregiver Anna and the office is phenomenal. They are so professional, understand what we need and always answer my questions. In addition to giving us back our time, they have matched my mother with such a wonderful caregiver, Anna brings such joy to her.

I have been using Home Instead for several months & cannot believe what a life saver they have been. I am a working mom, my husband & I have very hectic schedules & the kids are in everything under the sun. After my mom had a mild stroke last year we found ourselves juggling her day day needs on top of our own. Her caregiver, Anna, has become such an asset to us. She takes mom to the store, the Dr., even to visit her friends. In addition, she manages the housekeeping, laundry, groceries, everything! The office is just as fantastic. They are always there to answer my questions and constantly keep me informed. My only regret is not getting them for my mom last year right when this happened. They have given me & my family our life back & Anna has brought such joy to my mom. I highly recommend them!
