When it was founded in 1984, Technologic Systems original product line was based on serial print buffer technology for the then fledgling personal computer industry. As the computer industry boomed throughout the late 80s and early 90s, the company s product line grew to include parallel print buffers with increasing memory and multiple printer inputs. However, with the proliferation of local area networking at that time, the days of the print buffer were numbered. Therefore, in 1995, Technologic Systems moved its operation to Fountain Hills, Ariz., and expanded its product offering with a line of single-board computers based on the PC/104 form factor. Since that time, the company has added two new single-board computer lines, as well as peripheral products, such as enclosures and production support tools.
