i wish i could rate it a minus star. i have used yellow cab for about three years, being without a daytime vehicle. the trouble just started happening about 2 months ago. the first guy picked me up and took me to my destination and i said i'll be right back, needing a ride home, at which time he took off and left me, leaving me stranded. when i called and talked to , i'm guessing a superviser, he said at least i wasn't charged, about a month later i called for a cab, the guy called me back and asked me how far i was going, i said just down the road. 45 minutes later...no cab and when i tried to call the cab drivers number back, he hung up on me! and last but certainly not least, the guy DID pick me up and i asked him why am i having such trouble getting a cab and he said that i',m not going far enough for them. at the end of the cab ride i tipped him 5 dollars on a 3 dollar trip and he said, is that all?!!!

I have been a taxi driver for over 15 years &amp; most of them for Yellow Cab which i feel has the best dispatch system of all the cab companies. I now live in The Colony for over 5 years now &amp; drive between Lake Dallas to Frisco most of the time expect Friday &amp; Saturday nights when I work in Dallas.

He arrived very late. They dispatched someone late who was far out, even though I ordered my cab well in advance. That was not the worst part. His meter had already been running while he was lost. Then he drove way to fast and out of control. He proceeded to tell me how I have it so easy having been born here and it is not fair. Then we finally arrive in one piece. We arrive and he places a 8 tip on my charge and I have no time to argue as I am now late for work. I figured I was better off taking a cab with my car in the shop than trying to catch a bus. I called to complain about my dirver and was told the service provided was no different from other taxi services. Even worse customer service. I will NEVER use this service again. To get my van from the shop I decided to call Cowboys and from the start they were much friendlier and told me I would have my cab on time. They seem more organized and much more professional. USE YELLOW CAB AT YOUR OWN RISK AND BE PREPARED FOR THE WORST SERVICE EVER!!!!!! Deserved not a single star.

They are late even when you book in advance. Their drivers can not read GPS so they get lost and still have to call you for directions. They show up with the meter already running and then if you pay by credit after bad service, hang it up because they automatically take out a tip so you ended up tipping by force for the worst service ever. When you call to complain they say there service is no worse than the rest. Use at your own risk!!

This morning I didn't need coffee to wake me up before work. I took a cab because my work is only 1.3 miles away but its a 30 minute walk. I called and he was on time, but that was probably the only good service I had. After I got in the car, he started driving, and stopped on a the red light (there is only 3 traffic lights to get to my work). So what does the driver do?? HE STARTED HONKING!!! like that was going to make the light turn to green... and of course it didn't. After about another 15 seconds of waiting the light turned green and he said "oh see if I hadn't honked we would of still be waiting" I couldn't believe it, and to top it all off we didn't make it to the green light so we had to wait some more. When we finally got going he must not have any patience because he took off and he was swerving trough rush hour traffic at 55 miles an hour, I was truly terrified. I am glad it was only a short distance, I would of died of a heart attack if it was a longer trip.
I WILL NEVER USE THIS SERVICE AGAIN!!!!!!
