Dr Terrell Rourk has been our family vet since the 1990's. Originally recommended by a friend, he genuinely cares about the animals and gets to know the families who own them. We love his sense of humor and his practical and humane pet care advice that we want and need for our furry loved ones. Multiple rescue animals (dogs and cats) have come into our life over the years and Dr. Rourk provides us sage and trusted guidance. Though a job has taken us to another city, a relative's home is still in Tarrant County. When we know one of us is coming to Fort Worth, we continue to bring our pets to him for well checks, shots, and care. If your animals live a long time like most of ours do under his care, Dr. Rourk is also a compassionate advisor when facing end of life issues.

Dr. Rourke has been treating my pet menagerie for several years and I can't say enough good things about him and his staff. Aside from being very reasonable, Dr. Rourke takes the time to explain what's going on with your pet and take a very practical approach toward treatment. There are many other vets in Arlington but Dr. Rourke is worth the drive.

Dr. Rourk is one of the kindest vets I have ever met. I now take all of my babies to him. And, his fees are very reasonable.

Our cat had this huge growth on his back near his neck, which was filled with fluids. On the morning we were to take him in to have it looked at by Western Hills, it burst. I freaked out and took him to a vet closer to home. The first vet (name withheld) wanted min over $400 to cut it out. I wound up still spending over $160 to have it lanced open and drained, packed with antibiotics, a shot. It didn't help and the opening closed up and started growing and filling up again. Two to three weeks later we took our cat to Western HIlls. Dr. Rourk, took good care of our Poohkie! He tested him for cancer, monitored him overnight, called back next day with cost (which was under $200 for everything). They even kept him one more night because my husband couldn't get back over there until Saturday to pick him up - no extra charge. We had to take him again cuz the tumor grew back - less than $160 this time! This is my vet clinic from now on! It is well worth the drive from Keller area to go to a clinic that is not going to price gouge you to love your pets. Thanks, Dr. Rourk and Team!

Best vet in town. His priority is taking good care of your pet, not in how much money he can get out of you. Definitely recommend him to my friends.
