Rude rude manager. Didn't listened to my request of how I wanted the gel to be removed. I told her my skin is very sensitive and just want the foil, not soaking my fingers in acetone. If you have special requests, avoid this place.

I've been coming to this salon for a couple of years now and while I can agree that sometimes they aren't the friendliest, I've always received good service. I'm usually greeted when I walk in and after I sign-in I've never had to wait more than a few minutes before I'm directed to a chair. I have had both pedi's and mani's performed, some were done at the same time while at other times, when it's not so busy, they'll do them separately. I've always been pleased with the work performed and I'm usually in and out in a reasonable amount of time based on the service I'm having done. I can only recall one time where they were really busy and my pedi/mani went long but that's a rare occurrence. I don't ever make an appt as I prefer to just walk in and they have always been able to accommodate me. I have gone to other salons during the time I've been going here, mostly because of convenience reasons and I was greeted by those salons in the same kind of coolness...not rude, but just a perfunctory "hello, how can I help you". I don't mean this in a racially negative way toward the Asian community but I wonder if it's a cultural thing. The one thing that bugs me about many of the nail salons these days is that the employees hold conversations in their native language in front of their patrons. I do find that rude behavior, not by just this salon, but by all of them. They have recently updated their chairs and some of their equipment, as well as a new coat of paint and it really has freshened up the place. Prices for their services are reasonable and they have various choices to choose from to fit your budget. If you're looking for a spa experience, go to a spa. Your local nail salon, and I've gone to many others in and around the same area as VIP Nails are not spas, but they do provide a bit of pampering for the price.

It took 3 visits before I finally decided that I will never go there again and write a review! 1st visit, I waited with my feet soaking for over 20 minutes before some came over to start my pedicure! The employees were semi rude. 2nd visit, I requested to have my mani & pedi completed at that same time which they were nice about. The manicurist ended up being incredibly RUDE!!! She seems to be the oldest one that I've seen there and maybe I interrupted her movie she was watching on an iPad and thats why she wasn't happy.... I just had a mani 2 weeks prior to and she tells me that I have too much skin and that I need to get a set of nails put on. Once she finished, she basically threw my hand down and walked away. I reluctantly said thank you and of course she didn't say anything. The male pedicurist was ok... The 3rd time, didn't even get a hello or good-bye. I needed a polish change 7 days later so my nails were still in good condition. The guy who worked on my nails was really impolite, didn't even say hi or thank you or good-bye. He was trying to get me to get a full mani/pedi so he could make some money. Seriously?! I will NEVER go there again! I tried - it's right around the corner from my house so it's very convenient but I refuse to be treated poorly!! The only positive to the experience is that my polish lasted a week before chipping.

I cant begin to tell you how p...

I cant begin to tell you how poor my experience was at this salon. I had never been there before but was thrilled that they were open at 11 am on a Sunday. In a nutshell, the male that handled my pedicure was completely rude and unprofessional when i asked him to trim a little more cuticle off my big toe. He told me that I didnt have any cuticle and he wasnt finished anyway. Mind you, I didnt even ask him until he had already asked me to put my foot back in the water. In addition, a female salon employee told my 7 year old daughter and her friend who were waiting at one of their booths for a mani and pedi (I am sure she didnt realize I heard her on the other side of the wall) to STOP TALKING! Really? They werent being disruptive whatsoever, they were chatting among themselves while waiting to be serviced. At that point, I asked the male to stop my pedicure so that we could leave. He also charged me the full $20 knowing that he didnt complete but 1/2 of the pedicure, and that I was upset and dissatisfied with their service. I fully plan on posting this anywhere and everywhere I can to make people aware of their horrible service.

Quality

VIP Nail and Spa provides quality service. They are thorough and gentle. They corrected an ingrown toenail for me that I thought would require a doctor visit.
