It’s an incredibly helpless feeling to see a loved one in pain and not be able to do much about it. My friend recently had a procedure done here and she called it the worst surgery of her life. The staff was very pleasant, the location was clean and seemingly organized but everything felt rushed and/or unprepared. The paperwork had a different procedure, one of the nurses poked my friend’s arm more than 6 times to find a vein, the anesthesia during the procedure did not seem to have been given enough time to work as my friend is still in a lot of pain. I realize that everyone’s pain tolerance is different but she’s usually a trooper and has had different procedures with no problem. The recovery time was supposed to be 30 minutes but even that felt rushed. Now I am scrambling to find an after hours clinic who will see her as the wound is bleeding and an emergency room trip is not what we want to deal with. During the surgery, an IV and blood pressure cuff were on the same arm putting her at unnecessary risk. If you are going to have a procedure done here, the best thing I can recommend is to make sure they give you time to make sure the anesthesia goes through your system before starting or better yet find somewhere else if you can.
