Totally dishonest con man! Avoid at all cost! Ruined our refrigerator. Will not return calls. Now we have to sue!!

Jimmy Mitchell, or Michael (we're not sure who he really is), came to our home on 10/29/16 for a service call to look at repairing our dryer. His quote for the service call was $45. He explained to my husband that the dryer needed a new control board and that we had to put down a $200 deposit. My husband wrote him a check, and the part was scheduled to come in on Thursday 11/3/16. He immediately cashed the $200 check (noted on the cancelled check image we printed from the bank). We waited, and waited and he contacted my husband to let him know that there was a delay in receiving the part and that he would be available to repair our dryer on Saturday 11/5/16. He then said that on Saturday that the part had still not arrived, and we planned for repair on Monday. Next, he said the part came in too late on Monday and rescheduled for repair on Tuesday. Tuesday morning came and my husband contacted him. Michael (possibly Jimmy-real name) said that the day was just too slow, because of voting, and that we were the only clients on his list for the day. So, he cancelled again. I contacted him to tell him I was very dissatisfied with his customer service and wanted a full refund, and he ignored me. He then hung up on my husband repeatedly when he attempted to call him to get a refund. We have repeatedly attempted to call him to get information on how we can get our $200 refunded, and he has been uncooperative. He has a number that he doesn't like us to call, 214-984-3790, because he'd rather us call his cell phone at 214-317-1170. I can only assume that he is charged per customer contact on the 214-984-3790 line. We've contacted the police, and are in the process to completing a police report. We are hoping to get our money back, but at this point, I just want to make sure no one else gets robbed by this man. Please, if you want to keep your money or get a repair completed, I highly suggested calling a reputable repair service. This person is a thief.
