Very good prices and service, always seems to know what is wrong with the vehicle quickly. This is the only place I will take my Honda Prelude to and I recommend him very highly.

There is no other place to take your car

I first took my car to have the power window motor replaced. Ed went so far as to open the motor up and show me the brushes were bad. He not only fixed the window, but made sure all the other windows were functioning proper and lubricated themI never knew windows needed lubricating , but it makes sense. He then took the time to show me some other things that needed fixing and why. I have an automotive service background, and am fairly knowledgable about the industry. Ed takes real care and passion in what he does. His prices are very reasonable too. Since then he has fixed many other things on my car and when I leave his shop, I feel very confident my car will not leave me stranded due to anything he has done. I watched him work on my car the first time and there is no one else I will ever let work on my car, from this day forward. If you want it done and done right at reasonable rates Ed is the guy. He is honest and thorough.

Ed will provide you with honest, thorough, competent service for about half the cost of the dealership. Ed does a complete review of what could be done on your car, then tells you what you need to do now vs. what can wait for later. Ed did both major and minor work on my 2001 Odyssey and my 1995 Civic. To give you an idea of the kind of service he provides, I will tell you a few stories.

- My side view mirror adjustment did not work, Ed went to a junkyard to get a small part and repaired the mirror instead of buying a complete replacement assembly which was only available from the dealer for a high price.

- When I had a transmission problem at 105,000 miles on my van, Ed worked with the dealer and got it covered under warranty, even though Honda had only extended the warranty to 100,000 miles, this saved me $2,000, Ed did not charge me a thing even though he spent hours diagnosing the problem and arranging the repair.

- When I had a hard to find electrical problem in my automatic door, Ed spent many hours finding it but did not charge me, he only billed the time required to fix it.

Two Thumbs Up for Ed, aka The Honda Specialist

Ed will go above and beyond for you and your vehicle. I've been taking my Honda's to him for several years and he's always delivered top notch service and excellent prices. He's not a “parts replacer” like you get at most shops. He'll only fix what needs to be fixed, and when possible, he'll even disassemble the part, repair it, and re-install it in order to save you some money. Ed is by far the most knowledgeable Honda/Acura mechanic I’ve ever taken one of my vehicles to and I can’t recommend him enough.
