The plumbers who came to our home for the work were very well mannered and pleasant to work with. However, the office did not communicate well nor seem to care about the needs of the customer. We purchased a new to us house and had a drain backup in the laundry room. We decided to try and use our home warranty for the repair. It took 2 days for SWAT to come to our home. The plumber discovered a leak and repaired it. But later that evening we discovered that was not the only problem. SWAT did not return until 5pm the next day and said that the real issue would be "pre-existing" and not covered by warranty. We told them to go ahead and fix the problem and we would pay out of pocket. This was a Wednesday. The plumber said it would have to be tomorrow but they would take care of us and suggest a company for the sheetrock work.

The office called a few minutes after he left and said they would not come out tomorrow but they would send an estimator on Friday. I expressed concern that the issue needed resolved as I had already taken time of work to be home and could not afford more time off. I also said the service plumber stated it would be fixed the next day. Instead of honoring what was said she would only schedule an estimator on Friday. Which basically meant the problem would stay until at least the first to middle of the next week. I called out another plumber who promptly fixed the issue the very next day.

Whether it was a warranty repair or not the issue needed corrected and we were ready to pay out of pocket to do so. I would not recommend this company which is sad because the 2 plumbers I dealt with were very informative and seemed to genuinely want to help.

If you're looking for a company that has technicians with several years of fake experience to misdiagnose issues, technicians that instantly develop scam artist amnesia when confronted, over charge you for services that are not needed, and provide you with the worst customer service possible then look no further, you've got the right company! S.W.A.T Plumbing!!!

S.W.A.T. Plumbing which pretty much stands for SCAMMING WORTHLESS ASS TECHNICIANS!

Previously, for this house, I have had two visit from Atmos Energy, the company that provide gas to the house, and they provided report indicating "possible leak" .
I received the email and text from SWAT indicating that their technician , Mr Chris, is on his way to the property at 12/21/2017 11:10 AM. It took more than an hour before Chris shown up. Still it is fair since the traffic at this time of the year is heavy.
After explaining to Mr Chris the history of what we have seen/heard for past several days, He prepared the contract and explained that there will be extra cost that I have the choice to sign the contract, at $875, or call another plumbing company to come and fix the leak. I did sign the contract. Chris was very polite and professional, my complement.
It should be about 45 minutes to an hour that I received phone call from Chris indicating that there has been any leak found. I was at the house about 5 minutes later. I asked Chris to call the office and ask if the fee could be reduced. It was reduce to $425. I mentioned that I don't think it is fair but to not keep him from his next appointment, I signed the paper and mentioned that I will contact his manage indicating my disagreement for the amount I was charged.
I understand that SWAT time is their money but I strongly believe that their practice was very unfair.

I sent an email to SWAT and have not seen any response yet. The email was send on December 22nd to Mr. Dillon Paterson, I assume the owner of the company. In the email I mentioned my objection to the charge and asked for a discount to make the service charge fair.

Later on I found out that my credit card was charged for $450 instead of $425. I have already disputed the extra charge. Amazing how SWAT is so creative to rip you off.
If you do have enough money to burn then SWAT is the company. Otherwise it maybe better to stay away from this company. There are tones of other good companies in town with much better rating.

I would give SWAT Plumbing 0 Stars however that was not an option they came out to my home on the 19th of July and my issue is still not resolved they do not return phone calls they do not Place orders for the parts. American Home Shield has sent them several emails what no return responses. The professionalism that this company is ridiculous and they need to be out of business

This company was assigned by my home warranty company, AHS. My hot water heater went out on a Sunday. They couldn't come out until Tuesday to look at it. The technician said he needed to order a part. They called on Thursday and said they had to part but couldn't come out until Saturday to install it. Ok, now its been 7 days, no hot water. The technician installed the part and it still wasn't working. Then he changed out another part. Still wasn't working. He went to check the gas meter. Turned out there was in issue with our Atmos account and they had the wrong service address for our house. That was sorted out on Monday. So at this point we have 2 new parts and gas, so it should fire right up, right?!?? Nope! And they can't send anyone out to look at it until Wednesday. I do not recommend this company. Worst customer service everyone in the office is so rude over the phone. I have 2 small children and we haven't had water for 10 days at this point. But do they care? Not one bit.

I called American HomeShield regarding my water in Jan 2015. They called swat plumbing to fix it. They were able to come out Jan 28th and relite the pilot and it no longer worked on Jan 30th. They said at that time they need to replace a part and it would be in, in 4 days. In 5 business days I called them back because I had not heard from them and I still had no hot water and they tell me at that time they no longer make that part and they will have to replace the entire water heater. It would have been nice of them to tell me when they tried to order it that they no longer made it instead of having me wait to call them back. At the time American Home Shield said I had to use them to be covered and they would not cover all the code changes so I need to pay $435. They came to replace the water heater on a Friday. That night I opened up the water heater closet and it was spraying water everywhere. I tried to call Swats 24 hour number for them to come fix it and it went straight to voicemail. I called several times, sent them an email and tried their main number as well. I left several messages because this was an emergency. On the last voicemail I told them I would have to call another plumber because it was flooding my house. I found a plumber that came and it took several hours for him to get it fixed. The original installer did not solder the part connecting to the water line. The next day when we spoke to the owner he told us it was the perfect storm and the phone broke that day and he was getting it fixed. He told me I shouldn't have called another plumber and waited till the next day to talk to them, but he didn't understand that it was flooding the house. He said he would pay for the plumber I called it was $350 and he would inspect the work that was done and clean out the drain. They also sent restoration people to clean the mess the next day, they did pay for the restoration people as well. They had to put large fans in the main walk way, 2 in our bedroom closets and one in the downstairs bathroom. They had to remove a lot of carpet padding, cut a hole in the ceiling of the bathroom and remove baseboards. We had the fans for several days and were unable to even sleep in our house because of the noise level. The next week we had to take off work for them to remove all the equipment. That day they told me swat was not paying for them to repair the stuff they removed like carpet padding, ceilings and baseboards. I then called swat and told them to please fix that issue. I then had to take another day off work to have them come and repair those items. I called the owner and told him I felt with all the time and money I have now lost taking off work for them to fix the issue that was caused by his plumbers they should refund me some of the original money I paid for the water heater. He told me he needed a few days to think about it because he was already out so much money on the deal; well that was the fault of his plumber. The total I paid was $435. I didn't ask for a full refund just for something for all the inconvenience and money I lost for missing work. I didn't hear back from him so I sent an email on April 7th and didn't hear back so I emailed them again on April 24th. They then forwarded me an email they had accidently sent themselves instead of me that said they would not refund any money and if I wanted them to still review the work to make an appointment. Well at this point the water heater has been in for 7 months and I have already had someone come look at it because they have not be responsive. Also FYI the owner is rude when he does finally respond and thinks he is coming at you with a gottcha but really the customers are the one that can get him by going to someplace else.

SWAT worked very hard to work us in to the schedule for prompt service. Dillon was persistent in finding a hidden clog in our plumbing. Very courteous, conscientious young business owner. Satisfied customer!
