Ridglea Country Club, is a private club located in the prestigious western quadrant of Fort Worth, Texas, offering not one, but two 18-hole golf courses. For more than 50 years, the club s reputation for quality has been unchallenged. The country club was initially the vision of the late A. C. Luther who was the premier developer of the Ridglea area. Built of natural stone and glass, the club s California architecture is indigenous to the north Texas environment. The club's north golf course, designed in 1930, plays 6447 yards from the championship tees. In 1967, the Championship Golf Course and Clubhouse were opened, playing 7200 yards from the championship tees, with a par of 72. Ridglea is among the most luxurious club facilities in the city. The main clubhouse features an elegant formal dining room overlooking the Olympic size pool and family course. Dining at Ridglea is a gourmet s delight.
