HORRIBLE HORRIBLE experience with Merry Maids in Arlington Texas. They came out on Thursday afternoon, 3 women- none of whom spoke English or even attempted to introduce themselves, walked right past me, one of them asked me repeatedly in Spanish if I had a dog. that was the only thing that was said to me, they talked to each other and laughed but otherwise they pretended I did not exist. They did an awful- cheap hotel quality job of cleaning, it was clean at a quick glance but the floors and counters were sticky, there was a lot of dust, the put my vacuum in the closet ON TOP of the things that were in there without moving them, put my floor mat in the recycling bin like it was trash, put my mop and broom outside where they gathered dust, rendering them useless for cleaning, and did not bother to seal the trash bags they put in my garage, just heaped them on top of each other wide open. We called and stated what a horrible job it was and another crew was sent the next day. This crew did a better job cleaning and at least one of the ladies spoke English, but they threw away a limited edition DVD case and some of my daughters smaller Christmas toys and stickers which I had to FISH OUT OF THE TRASH. They also broke a globe on a custom ceiling fan and didn't say anything. When we called about the globe I spoke to three people and NOT ONE of them said "I'm sorry." They were rude and unapologetic. They said I have to wait for someone to come by on Monday. Great- so I have to spend more of MY valuable time waiting for Merry Maids to fix THEIR mistake. What an awful experience. I will place this review on every website I can find. I want my money back.
