Their chicken livers are wonderful, the best in town. The service is fast for all their menu items. My husband does not like chicken livers. He had chicken tenders instead. They have the usual variety of soft drinks and tea. Their cold slaw is great with no pretensions to being anything else, just your basic stuff.
We will go back!

Lisa's Chicken on University and 7th Street is horrible!!! Take the time to go to the one on 28th Street. The difference is night and day! The chicken wad very dark and looked old, it tastes terrible, the Frys where dark brown, they gave us no bread at all. When I called they were very rude, told me i was lying, and said bring everything back or they won't do anything. I said we already had tried it and they said well then we won't do anything if you don't have it all Un touched. RUDE MEAN EMPLOYEES!!! I have never had any trouble at the other Lisa's locations in Northside so just avoid this one. Since I started this review I now am very nauseated and think I'm going to be sick so save your self the trouble. TRUST ME :)

I love Lisa's. They not only offer fried chicken but also offer fried fish which is wonderful.. They offer a variety of sides ( corn on the cob, mashed potatoesI, etc. You can get a 3 piece meal with 2 sides, a roll, drink and a peppper for under $6.00 ( prices may go up)!

I worked in the Downtown Ft. Worth area for a number of years before retirement. I have eaten at the premier Fort Worth Club Restaurant "the best in town" and many other places. In all of the restaurants I say my grace. " Lord, take out all the impurities, calories, and anything thats not good for me.... and lastly Lord..Bless the hands that prepared it". Amen!
